Mode
Mode is the number that appears the most in a sequence.
To find mode you must put the numbers in order and count how many times each number is repeated.
For example:
3,6,4,2,6,2,2,2
2,2,2,2,3,4,6,6
2 appears the most and therefore it is the modeMedian
The median is the middle number.
To find this you put the numbers in a sequence from smallest to largest and count from each side to get to the middle.
For example:
1,3,2,1,1,7,9
1,1,1,2,3,7,9
The middle number is 2.
Theredore the median is 2.
If there was an even amount of numbers than you must find the mean e.g.
428392
223489
3 and 4 are both in the middle
Add them 3+4=7
And divide the number you get by the amount of numbers in the set (so there are 2 numbers)
So 7÷2=3.5
Therefore the median is 3.5Mean
Mean is the average.
To find the mean you add your data together and divide it by the amount. of numbers you have.
For example:
5,10,2,8
5+10+2+8=25
25÷4=5
The mean is 5************************************
