Chapter 2 Juliett

Everything was going wonderful at school until the police showed up. It's my first day at West Chester High. It is a very hard school to get into you must get straight A+'s for every class. But thanks to my powers I can remember everything and trace back any thing. You know the American flag that the Pledge of Allegiance song came from the flag we see is not the real one. The real one is probably where I'll be soon. I calculated my probability of escape and let's just say aren't good. There is.0043 chance I will make it out. But kate's she has a .00000103 chance. She can't leave! She's my bestie! We are all lined up I'm closer to the door. Sorry Kate. I start to run. "Stop that girl!" an officer says. Let's see my probability of surviving a fall from a third floor window. You know what no time to think. I jump. I start to scream. Then I black out.

"Juliett dear, It's time for school." My perfect Mother yells. Wait but she said that this morning! I wake up in my king size canopy, in my silk nightgown. Was that a dream! Going back in time is definitely not my power. "Juliett, you food will get cold and I want to say bye to you before I have to go to work." My mother says. I walk down the stairs. Everything's the same. Our butler pulled the chair out for me. Same food. My mother is in the same cloth for her modeling gig today. " Your Father had to go to work early they needed to tweak one more thing in the, you know. Thing we won't speak of." My mother says sadly. It stinks that my dad had to make the Ability Detector. Why him, he didn't even want to do it! They forced him! Their monsters!

After our breakfast for a second time I put my uniform on. A brown skirt, white shirt, red plaid tie, brown jacket, knee-high black sock, and black shoes. I go out to the car and my chauffeur takes me to school for the second time. Kate is waiting outside in the same spot. She walks up to me. "Do you remember today?" she asks. "Yes." I anwer. She's my BFF she was there for me when I got my powers and I was there for her. "I say we make a plan." I tell her. "You already have a plan don't you Clar." she says. "Yup." I say.

We get in line near the stair just as I planed. We waited. Some were taken somewhere up stairs. Some stayed. Then they were getting closer to us. We ran right down the stairs. "Get them! Someone!" the officer screams. "We're gonna make it!" I say. Then I see a bullet go through my best friend. Blood started pouring out of the red headed girl. "NO, KATE!" I scream. I start to cry. As she starts to fall, I catch her before she hits the cold floor. She looks at me and says " Keep going I'll die happy knowing you're okay. Run. GO!" then she stopped. I ran crying.

Filled with anger I found my last power Rage. But I knew that I, Juliett Rose Belowding, is the the reason for my father made that horrible thing. I may never be able to see my parents or friends ever again but I left my Mother and Father one last thing." I love you both so much but I need to leave or I'll die.
