TWO WEEKS LATER
Ramona-*today was the day to see who will become alpha of the pact. How do we determine that? Jason and I have to go through a series of tests. When we're done whoever does the best gets to be alpha. I have been practicing since i became better so hopefully I will blow him out of the water. kevin tied my boots for me then stood up.*
Kevin-Are you ready baby? *he asked handing me a gatorade. I nodded. He smiled and kissed my cheek.* I'm proud of you baby. Good luck. I really hope you become Alpha.
Ramona-I do too. I just don't want to listen to Jason for the rest of my life. *he chuckled while I rolled my eyes. i saw my mom coming closer to us.*
Jasmine-You ready baby? *i nodded. she smiled, wrapped her arms around my shoulders, and brought me to the starting line. dad explained the rule of no hitting or sabotaging the other person and that being alpha is not the only important thing in the world. With his words of encouragement and I love you both he began to get down to business.*
roc royal-on your mark......get set.......GO! *jason and i ran off. the first part was physical. we had to push through heavy punching bags, fake wolves that weren't our people, and do a long jump. After that we changed back into our human forms, put our clothes on, and run to the board. The board blank. We must fill out what is our territory and who is our neighbors. Once we finished that we had to run and figure out which packs we were allied with and which we had to watch out for. I knew these like the back of my hand because dad made sure to teach it to us. After this obstacle, we had to make a negotiation with a person from another pack. They asked us 3 questions. It was multiple choice but we had to give an explanation for our choice. After that we had to run around the territory and come back to the start line. Jason was ahead of me but I pushed through to make it at the same time he did. Everyone applauded. All of the alpha's of pacts that we were allies with began deliberating. My heart was beating extremely fast with worry. If I win I will be the first female alpha ever. I am so nervous.*
Teressa POV
Teressa-*i walked to the middle of the forest alone. Over these past couple weeks i've been with eli. I wanted to make his memories of me happy and beautiful before earl kills me. he texted me last night saying to meet him in the forest. i will admit that i am scared and skeptical of what's going to happen. when i get to the middle i sit down and push my hair behind my shoulders. no one is here and it is broad daylight. about 3 minutes later i heard his heavy footsteps. he was in his wolf form. he changed to human and stared at me.* What?
earl-i have something to tell you.*i nodded urging him to continue.* I just realized that i am gay. i want you to meet my boyfriend. *i was shocked. i didn't expect him to say that. i smirked and nodded.* come out babe! *behind earl was ben. OMG. HE LIKES BEN. WOW.I got up and hugged ben tightly.*
teressa-wow. i am so happy for you guys.
earl-well i have something to tell you. while we were dating i was talking to ben. i know i'm a hypocrite for being upset when you were with my brother. i think we can both be happy now.*i nodded.*
teressa-we weren't meant to be. i am happy that you guys are together. congratulations. *i hugged them both again. now i can live with my eli and be happy while he is happy as well.*
ramona pov
ramona-*all of the alpha's came back to the crowd.* i am so nervous. *i whispered to kevin. he kissed my knuckles and smiled at me. i love him so much.*
roc royal-we have made our decision. The next alpha is...........*my heart was pounding in my ears as i gripped kevin's hand. he pulled me closer to his side taking deep breaths.*ramona young.*we all jumped for joy even jason was happy for me.*now that we chose you to be alpha you will only claim the title when i retire and you must shadow me when this summer and on. jason is beta. you must hold each other together in order to have this pact succeed. I am proud of both of you. Lets go celebrate!*we all cheered. As everyone walks to the pact house they gave me words of encouragement and congratulations. before we walk in kevin wrapped me in his arms telling me he loves me and that i will be a great alpha.*
ramona-thank you for being there for me.*kevin pulls out a ring and shows it to me.*
kevin-i want a future with you. after graduation i want to be married. this is a promise ring to let you know that you are it for me mona. we been through a lot of shit together and i want you with me through more. what do you say?*he stares in my eyes with love and hope. i smile brightly at him.*
ramona-i would love to be your future wife.*he puts the ring on my finger and kisses me passionately. GOD I LOVE HIM!*
