teressa-*i stood there as she pressed the gun to my head.*
kevin-april put the gun down.
april-why? so you can run free and have me go to jail or some shit like that?
kevin-look ill stay just let her and mona leave.
april-no no. see i tried to make that an option for you but you still chose her over me.
kevin-april be rational ok. your mom doesnt have to rule you anymore. i know how much you wanted to leave.
april-wheres my mom?
teressa-shes dead.
april-WHAT?
teressa-yea. i sort of kinda killed her.*i felt april's hand shaking.she pistol whipped me and i fell. ramona ran towards me but april held the gun to her.*
april-dont step any closer.*april kicked me in my side 4 times then i heard a growl behind us. it was either earl or eli. i rolled on my back and april turned around pointing the gun at them. she shot one and i grabbed her ankle as ramona jumped on her. april fell with ramona on top of her. ramona grabbed the gun and pistol whipped her twice. kevin grabbed mona and me.*
kevin-we have to go now! come on boys!*the guys ran out and i ran with mona and kevin. my side was killing me so i was holding it while trying to run out with them.we reach the car and i crawled in the back with mona and eli. kevin drove and earl sat in the front.*
teressa-who did she shoot?
earl-me. im fine though. *i leaned up and saw that his wound was healing. i sat back and eli held me close.*
eli-are you ok?*i nodded. the ride to mona's house was silent. when we got there we all sat on the couch.*
ramona-im gonna shower and change. *we all nodded as she ran upstairs. i grabbed my phone and called jason.*
jason-hey did you get any leads?
teressa-better we have her. shes home.
jason-thank god.
teressa-whats up with auntie jaz?
jason-shes fine. she just needs rest. well bring her home tomorrow.
teressa-good. hey umm. i love yall.
jason-we love you too teressa. see you tomorrow.
teressa-ok.*we hung up the phone. i looked at eli. he smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist.*earl hows your wound?
eli-its cool. it healed up.*earl nodded and pulled up his shirt to show a small scar on his stomach.*
teressa-can i talk to you earl? in private.*he nodded and walked to the backyard.i kissed elis cheek and got up. i walked in the yard with him.i followed him to the middle of the woods.*
earl-whats up?
teressa-thanks for all your help.
earl-no problem.
teressa-so do you want your side of the deal right now?
earl-dont want to say goodbye to eli?*i shook my head.*
teressa-it may be easier without a bye.*he shrugged and walked closer to me. i closed my eyes and i felt him kiss my neck. he walked behind me.i exhaled and turned around.*youre not gonna kill me?
earl-not on your terms. i like surprises. you know that.*he kept walking back to the house. i shook my head and walked back after him. when i got to the house it was pitch black. eli was sitting on the deck when i got there. i sat on his lap.*
eli-youre so beautiful.*i smiled.*
teressa-thanks but im gonna take a shower.*he nodded. i kissed his cheek and smelled axe.*you showered?*he nodded. i shook my head and got up to shower. i walked inside monas room to see her in bed sleeping with kevins arms around her. i smiled and grabbed an outfit from her and changed in jasons room. i put on his lotion and deodorant. the door opened and it was eli.i yawned and he laid down on jasons bed beside me.*wheres earl?
eli-hes sleeping on the couch.*i nodded and laid next to him.eli turned the tv on then wrapped his arms around me tightly.*you smell like jason.
teressa-i used his lotion.*he nodded and watched the tv.*eli, why do you like me?
eli-ive liked you for a long time way before we made moves on each other. i liked you because you knew what you wanted, youre sweet, selfless, and sexy as hell. you have an aura about you where i want to protect you but i know you can save yourself. youre like a tough ass princess.*i smiled and laid on his chest.*
teressa-i always thought you were handsome but i didnt think you would pursue me since i was with earl.
eli-yea. i didnt want to hurt him but i couldnt resist you.*i smiled and pecked his lips.i moved closer to his body and closed my eyes feeling exhausted.*
