  Jesse's POV:
I went downstairs laughing to myself about what just happened. Reaching the bottom
Of the stairs I stopped and waited for Emily to come down. That asshole Steven came out of no where "follow me" he said walking away.
I just stood there and looked at him and he stopped and waited for me so I could catch up.
"Where we going?" I asked as we walked to a different side of the house. 
"You should know?" He replied.
That freaked me out. "Uh well I don't" I said getting frustrated.
"If you are really who you say you are and how you were raised you would know that the men always get drinks together before dinner and the ladies go to another part of the house and do the same.
"Oh" I said scratching my head "I knew that, you just made it all creepy so yeah".

Wow they have a bar in their house I thought to myself. There were a couple of men at the bar along with Emily's dad. I felt a little awkward when I walked in getting some strange looks from the other men but I shrugged it off. There just old men, I've delt with worse.

"Jesse.. what will you have?" Her father asked me.
"Whisky on the rocks" I said coming to the bar to get my drink.
"Good man" he said nodding towards me.

"This here is Jesse"....Emily's father said.
"Emily's new boyfriend, and he is in medical school along with her wanting to be a surgeon."he said patting me on the back.
The bartender handed me my drink and I took a seat at the bar amongst the other men. Emily's dad had gone and sat back down at his barstool and picked up his drink.

"So your smart huh?" Said one of the guys who was just a huge guy in general.

"Yes." I responded finishing my drink. I motioned for another.

"Oh someone's quite sure of himself? Huh nick?" Said another guy. This guy just gave off the prep school raised by nannies who had crumpets and tea vibe. I rolled my eyes and took another sip.

"Caleb be hospitable" Said another man who was older and sitting next to Emily's dad said. He resembled Caleb, I'm guessing he was his father.
"Yes sir"  Caleb said turning from away from him. He sat next to me.
"I'm Caleb Theodore the third nice to make your acquaintance, Jesse."
"Dam that's a long name". I said hiccuping while reaching for the next whisky on the rocks. 
Caleb looked stunned.
"Oh shit sorry, I mean nice to meet you." I said sighing into my glass. I have to remember to act not myself all this being rich and proper bullshit.
"Sorry it's been a long day" I said reaching my hand out to Shake celebs.

"That's quite alright." He said eyeballing me.
"So your dating Emily?" He asked awkwardly.
"Yes sir" I said taking another sip.
"Well then I might as well tell you but you and her are just a phase, me and Emily have been set up to marry, and I'll be courting her soon."

"Is that so?" I said turning at him I put my drink down.

"Yes, so it will be your best interest to leave before dinner because that's when her dad is announcing it, it will save your alcoholic ass some embarrassment."
"She won't leave me for your preppy ass" I said smirking looking down at my phone.

"She will, and she will be my wife and continue the Theodore name until we have a son. She will be the perfect housewife once she quits school."

"You must not know Emily, because she's the best of our class next to me, she will be a great doctor, and you can't make her marry you."

"Her father owes my father so I'm sure it will be figured out in time. And as to her medical degree I'll personally make sure she never gets it, so all these years for nothing" He said laughing.

That nick guy chimed in "can you imagine Emily a doctor! Haha"

I said nothing.

"You don't seem like your from around here? Who are you again?" Caleb said giving me this raised eyebrow look I just wanted to smack off his face.

"Oh I'm from around here." I said standing up leaning over him.

"Gentleman, dinner is served."
All the men got up and as they did Emily's dad looked over at me and chuckled.

That nick guy came from no where and handed me back my wallet. "Jesse Taylor" he said looking at my id.
