My Hero

"Natalie, slow down!" Elisha shouted from behind me. I paused and looked over my shoulder towards my cousin; she was average in the British standard of height but was rather tall to the Korean scale at five foot six inches. She was also curvy at a size twelve, but hated her figure even having lost a lot of weight to come on this trip, we even lost weight during the trip as we both don't like fish or rice. I know right, who travels to China, Japan and Korea when you don't like fish or rice.

"Dude, I've only got little legs!" She continued in a puff of air. Elisha though was a shy girl, but liked to stand out in other ways, with bright peacock blue hair but was covered with a black beanie hat. A silver nose ring that was small enough to sometimes not be notice was in her right nostril. Her ears though hidden by her thick, wild hair also had jewelry pierced all along them, from a standard lobe stud to a rook or a tragus piercing. She wore no makeup - rarely ever did - but on this long day of traveling there didn't seem much point.

Her clothing was wrinkled and worn, but looked comfortable, she had on black converses, a pair or dark blue skinny's and a baggy black hoodie that was well worn with holes at the cuffs that her thumbs poked through. I wasn't sure what t-shirt she had on today, but knowing her it was something sarcastic or humorous. She pulled on her shiny khaki suitcase, the wheels squeaking as she tugged it. Then her right hand moved to her equally green, zip-up backpack, the strap having fallen off her shoulder.

Elisha and I had a secret passion, anime, manga, and even kdrama's it had gotten so bad that we would spend days upon days watching them. It was then that we decided to travel to the must see places. First was the great wall of China, then Tokyo and then Korea to visit the sets of our favourite kdrama's.

Elisha stopped by my rectangular, purple wheelie case it was between us. She then suddenly bent over, her hands on her knees as stood in front of me at Incheon International Airport. The building was grey but the bright light coming in through the glass ceiling that looked like the inside of a beehive, more than made up for the lack of colour. Besides there were so many people coming and going it was like a sea of colour as people passed by making their way to their destination.

"Oh, my God I can't breathe!" Elisha whined out as she continued her heavy breathing, her hands still on her knees, "I'm so tired."

We both got a few looks from by passers, but I was more that used to that. I was not short; not even by the British standard. Being at five foot eight inches I was closer to the average height of a man. So having travelled through China and Japan I was more than used to seeing over people by now. It also doesn't help being a size ten hour glass with funbags at a size E. I have been told by a few sweaty fan boys I look more like a manga character.

I was standing by a rectangular blue sign; there was also a row of green plants that seemed to be a common feature throughout the airport.

I faced the sign and I could vaguely make out my refection, my own appearance looked shabby and weary. I need to wash my hair! I deliberated and I could see that my full on fringe was starting to separate looking like I had curtains. My light brown hair was parted down the middle looking messy as I had fallen asleep on the plane and hadn't brushed out my hair yet. I finger combed my locks and mussed up my fringe so I didn't look like a ninety's boy band member.

"I am tired too Leash, hence why I want to get to our motel room as soon as possible, so I can have a nap." I finally answered, tugging on my own backpack that was only draped on my right shoulder; mine though was a blue and pink tartan with a pull-string and buckle fastening. Elisha and I may have a lot in common but we also differ in many things, from music, men and fashion. Elisha went for the more tomboy relaxed style, while I liked to show that I have a figure. I was a little more girly even though we were both a bit rocky.
