Chapter Nine

I'm Ok; It's Just Been A While

Loud drum and base type music was electrifying the room. I could feel my whole body vibrating and I was sitting still. We were taken to a VIP section that was upstairs and overlooked the dance floor. The club was dark but had neon lights everywhere, as well as people holding glow sticks while they danced. The club had a metal industrial feel to it, with steel and iron everywhere.

The DJ booth was at the top end of the club slightly raised with giant speakers either side of it.

Leash had disappeared with some of the guys to go dance, I couldn't so I stayed up at our table. I was sitting with Sehun and D.O. at the moment while Chan had disappeared in search of the toilet.

I was just so shocked by everything here; it was completely different than the clubs in the UK. I'm not sure if it has something to do with being with EXO or not but we have so much stuff! I pondered gazing at the table as it was covered with an assortment of foods, from fresh fruits to finger sandwiches. It's the sort of stuff you'd expect at an afternoon tea not a night club. But then the massive, frosted ice bucket on the corner of the table with a selection of different bottles made me think otherwise.

I smirked before I reached over for my third piece of chicken that's when I felt eyes on me. I peered up at Sehun and D.O. hesitantly bringing the chicken down. Sehun looked smart but casual in his dark denim jeans and leather boots. His boots went well with his leather jacket that covered his red check shirt that wasn't done up revealing a plain white t-shirt underneath.

D.O though just looked smart; he had a suede bomber style jacket on and a black roll-neck jumper. He seemed to stick to the darker colours, compared to the others. The nightclub fashion was a bit more relaxed here as well compared to UK nightclubs. I can't believe they get to wear trainers here. I smirked peering down at my own converse glad foot that didn't go with my outfit.

"Sorry, was I not supposed to eat that?" I questioned, bringing the chicken to my plate. Both D.O and Sehun looked to each other before they laughed.
"Of course you can." D.O answered, but it was Sehun, who was sitting next to me. He leaned in closer to my ear speaking over the loud music, "We just haven't seen a girl eat as much-"
"I've never actually seen a girl eat! I feel bad for the female idols! Their programme has to be worse than ours!" D.O inputted.
"What do you mean?" I asked, confused. D.O smirked at me as he leant over the table, "Before we become idols most of us went through a boot camp. It's strict and with no guarantees that you'll become an idol. The girls are on diets of only weighing 50kg-"
"How much is that in stone?" I pondered; having a feeling it was going to be something drastic.
Sehun got his phone out and converted it and I was indeed shocked.
"Are you kidding me?! Seven stone? But some of these girls can be as tall as me! That's dangerous!"
"That's fame." D.O. declared, bringing a bottle to his mouth.

"Luckily I'm not an idol then!" I began, picking up the chicken wing, "Because I love food to much!" I munched, making the guys laugh. Luhan then came up to our table, "Come on guys let's dance!" Before he reached over to the ice bucket and downed a bottle. He then offered me his hand and I waved my hands in a negative.
"Aaah, come on let's have a little fun!" He cooed and his little cherub face had me laughing before I swung my legs round, bringing up my boot clad foot.
"I would love to Luhan, but this has gotten in my way."

Luhan sulked before he slumped down next to D.O. I peered over the balcony to the dance floor, seeing many bodies dancing and grinding to the unknown song that was playing. I couldn't even make out Elisha and the rest of the guys. I wonder what's taking Chan so long? Surely he should be back by now? I pondered, looking around and staring at the metal staircase that led to us. I turned back to the guys who were talk animatedly to one another, "Sorry guys, I'll be right back need to go to the loo."
"What's a loo?" Luhan spoke up, making me laugh; I could even see the blank look on the others.
"The toilet. . ." I clarified with a giggle.
