You walked hand and hand with Harry into the store.
It was a popular bakery that had opened in downtown LA a couple of years ago. You had heard so many good things about the pace over the years and all the famous celebrities they've made wedding cakes for and you guys were so excited. You and Harry had heard about this place by tons of your friends and hear the cakes there were spectacular.
The outside of the store had a white brick covering with little windows on each side, where you could see people eating in their chairs. It almost looked like a cafe rather than a bakery. You knew around about what cake you wanted and what Harry wanted as well. You were just still not quite sure what the cakes would look like but you still just decided to go with it anyways. As you walked in the store, a woman with, brown locks of hair, wrapped tightly in a bun came running towards you almost immediately. You stepped back slightly startled. Harry put his arm in front of yours, shielding you. He spoke in a low, guarded voice, "What do you need ma'am?"
The woman's face went blank and then came back, her expression showing regret. "Oh, I'm sorry, I was just greeting you. I din't mean to scare you! My apologizes!"
Harry and (Y/N) smirked at the girl in amusement. "First day isn't it," you said.
"Yes," she replied looking down at the ground in shame.
"Don't worry, we've all had those days. As long as you find us our dream wedding cake, I solemnly swear that this," you said gesturing your hands, pointing at you and her. "Will stay between us and only us. Got it?"
"Got it, thank you Ms. (Y/L/N)!!"
"Call me, (Y/N)."
She seemed very sweet. She guided me and Harry down the various halls, people glancing at us, teenage girls screaming, into a little office with a lady in a white blouse tucked in with a siege pencil skirt. She had a blond hair brushed up into a high bun, just like the girl working up at the front and was searching over different papers with three cakes in front of each stack of papers.
As we walked in, Harry sat down on the right of me as I sat down on the chair on the left. "Hello, (Y/N) and Harry, nice to meet you. I'll be your cake coordinator, meaning I get everything you want for your cake and make it happen," she put out her hand as I shook her gently and Harry did the same.
"Now, let's start with flavor. What would be your ideal choice?"
You sat and thought for a moment about which flavor you wanted. "Maybe, red velvet?"
"And you Harry?"
"Anything she wants." He said sheepishly.
The lady with the blonde bun rolled her eyes at Harry, "Oh, come on, that's got to be one flavor you want?"
Harry contemplating responding before saying, "Chocolate would be nice."
The lady laughed a little, "I knew it."
She started to wave her hands towards each cake display saying, "Now, how many tiers and what style?"
Harry told her, "I think we both agreed on wanting regular styled 3 tier cake."
"Nice, colors?"
"Orange and white to match our wedding colors," you added.
"Nice. Let me be right back and I'll options for you."
The girl at the front smiled at us once again and took the three cake displays and papers and took them out of her office as the blonde left the room.
"Aren't you excited?!" I said, turning facing Harry's pretty green eyes.
"Yea, one more step closer to becoming your husband."
"And I'm one step closer to becoming your wife."
We leaned into each other and kissed as it felt as if the world disappeared around us until a knock on the door interrupted us. "Yes," we said as we turned facing the lady.
"I've got some cakes, wanna see them?"
"Yes!," you and Harry said with a little too much excitement.
"Here are the three cakes,"
You looked at the cakes in awe. "Wow, these are all such beautiful cakes."
"I think I like..the second one the best. What do you think Harry?"
"I like the second one, too."
Our cake coordinator smiled and took out some papers from underneath her desk drawer and placed them in front of you and Harry.
"Here, sign these and you've got yourself a wedding cake."
You and Harry both signed on the dotted line happily.
You cheered at Harry, "We've got a wedding cake!!"
Harry cheered with you and grabbed you face pulling you in closer to kiss him happily.
Harry whispered to you saying, "One step closer."
You replied, mid-kiss, "One step closer."
