It's the first day of school and Poppy is excited about it, her pink her in a pony tail on top of her head, her hand straightening her dress.. Branch on the other hand... He is not. Not excited at all about the new day in school. They walked to school together, Poppy humming some happy song. "Do you have to sing?" Branch frowned. "I always sing when I'm in a good mood".
When they arrive Poppy meets with her other friends. "What's going on with Debby-Downer over there" Asked Cooper pointing at Branch. "You know Branch, he is always sad" Dj contributed to the conversation, and off they went, laughing and dancing to their first lesson. All of them.. All but Branch of course.
Poppy's POV: Oh, I'm so excited! We have music first! And I got to meet all my friends and I'm so happy! I think I'm going to sing!
"Relax Branch. You need some positivity"
I saw him, talking to Branch, the most amazing, positive and chilled out troll on earth, my cheeks flushed with pink!
"Hi, I'm Poppy" I beamed at the guy. "I'm Creek" He booped my nose and I flustered more "Princess Poppy?" I nodded happily knowing he was aware of who I was.
Branch's POV: "You look even more pretty in person"
This guy was flirting with Poppy. Who does he think he is? Poppy is a princess and he didn't seem interested until he realised who she was, and why was he touching her? Why is she blushing? Who is this guy?!? They aren't even acknowledging that I'm still here.
I made a grumpy sound and Poppy's head turned my way for a split second.
"Hi Branch" she replied but Creek didn't say a word. The rest of the day I was sulking, I was expecting Poppy to be here, annoying me but she was there with Creek. She was looking at him like he was something amazing, she giggled at everything he said and I was just sat alone ... I put my troll music player on and what I heard on the radio made me even more sad, because right there and then I realised something important...
