WELCOME! ADVENTURERS OF THE INTERWEB!
Today's second chapter is about suggestion boxes. Story recipes. Whatever you wanna call it.
I'm sure we've all heard about them. Pick a setting. Character. Conflict. Etc. Sometimes these are useless, but there are some good ones I've found on the magical interweb. Here's one of them!
http://cms.movellas.net/content/suggestions/v1.0/index.html I'll post the link in the comments so you can copy and paste. I like this one for the most part, but when it comes to title and character names just press skip, because those things are best to come up with by yourself. Here's an example of one I've gotten:
Suggestion for a story beginning:
Your story starts with a Twitter message.
Ideas for a setting:
Your story takes place in Paris.
Character suggestion:
Your story is about the relationship between a shy electrician and a comic book creator.
Problems:
In your story you might have to persuade the father to permit marriage.
Suggestion for a story ending:
Your story ends with a funeral.
See! There you go! A bit morbid... it doesn't have to be exactly like this- it's just inspiration. Let's try another one to end this chapter.
Your story starts with a birthday.
Your story could be set in a football stadium.
Your story is about a model and a dressmaker.
In your story a character might have to pass on a terrible secret.
Your story ends with a secret kiss.
