It was almost time until school was over. I sat there in the boring class staring out the window. The sun was setting the sky are full of colors mixed together in beautiful harmony. People find this sight as wonderful and appealing however I couldn't see it. When the sun sets down giving out its final light the darkness of the night creeps by and the monsters come out. They are most powerful at night. They take over people that has left an opening for their grief, sadness , madness and sins. As a result they take over them and fear the monster they have become. They'll take over their bodies and end their lives. I sighed as I saw pitch black mist float above buildings.
"A big storm is coming" I muttered under my breath so no one could hear me.
I didn't pay much attention to what the teacher was saying. Silence filled the air I could only hear the clock.
Tick
Tock
Tick
Tock
In an instant the sound of the final bell broke the silence I snapped out of my thoughts and gazed at the people who were hurrying out the door. I stayed at my spot not wanting to get trampled again. I watched them leave one by one as soon as I was the only one in the class I started packing my stuff. I stood up as sunshine shined on me. I was on cleaning duty today. I heard footsteps get closer to me. The door was pushed open quick.
"Hisa-chan! Why are you still here?" I turned around to see my friend Nariko panting like a dog. I guess she had to run all the way since she goes to class on the other building.
"Nariko you know you don't have to run all the way here. I said I'll wait for you outside." I stated concern for her. I just realized that I had to tell her something.
"No it's okay plus it's a good exercise for me" she said stretching madly. She walked in and took my stuff.
"What do you think you're doing?" I asked confuse of her doings. She looked at me "Come on let's go" was her response. I shook my head at her.
"No not yet I'm on cleaning duty" I contended pointing at the written board. She stopped and nodded her head. She dropped my stuff and ran to the board beginning to erase it. As soon it was all erased i shrugged it off. She pulled me outside " Hisa-chan we should go to the cake shop today!" She said. Now to think about it I needed to spend a lot of time with her today and tomorrow.
"Uh Nariko I need to tell you something."I mentioned. She didn't look at me but I knew she was listening.
"I'm moving to another house and to another school two days from now.." I stopped walking and so she did. I didn't look at her I was to afraid to look at her eyes I know she has a fragile heart making her sad is the worst thing I ever wanted to do. It'll be too horrible since we were friends since birth. I gazed at her and she turned her head and smiled.
"I know your parents told me in the morning" she started walking. Although she might look happy however deep inside she's miserable. I sighed.
"I'm sorry Nariko for not telling you this morning my Mom and Dad just told me after I woke up and now we just started packing up. I don't know where we're moving my mom said it was a 'surprise'" I quoted. We stopped by the time we were outside.
"That's okay Hisa-chan! That's why we have to spend time with each other before you leave!" She cheerfully said without having sadness in her voice. I nodded my head since she planned to go to the cake shop I agreed with her but first I had to do something.
I dialed the home phone number I put my phone behind my ear waiting for her to answer. Then she finally picked up.
"Mhmm Misawa resident how may I help you?" She said.
