"Shouldn't you be at school Hisano?" The female voice said. Hisano mumbled and groaned after hearing the voice.

"Whattttt?" Hisano shifted around her bed and looked at the clock.

8:23 a.m

She perked up and lowered her head with a long sigh.

'How come I didn't hear the alarm?'

She rubbed her eyes in annoyance. She didn't want to go to school but then she had to even though today was the last day until the spring half term break.

"I'm guessing you don't want to go to school today?" Mama Lani spoke. She glanced at the weary girl. Hisano didn't respond, she was still deciding on what she will do.

"It's your choice to make dear. Remember your destiny is created by you and not others. You are still young and by the looks of it. Did something happen yesterday?" Mama Lani asked observing her swollen red eyes, under eye black circles and pale face.

"You looked drained out." Touching the young girl's face gently.

"I suggest you stay home. It will be okay, I will tell your parents." Mama Lani reassured and started walking towards.

"Thanks you Mama Lani." Hisano gave a slight smile.

"I will give you your breakfast. You just stay there and don't do any shenanigans." She ordered leaving.

Hisano stood and walked to her bathroom to observe her face and indeed she looked drained out. She looks closely touching her face.

'What happened?'

She put her hands on the bathroom sink and lowered her head. She wondered about what happened between her and Yato.

'I shouldn't have said that' regretting all the words she said yesterday. She held her shoulder and massaged it feeling a sore on her shoulders. She felt sluggish and yet she wasn't sick at all.

She walked back to her bed and glanced out the window. The sight of the gray clouds with no sight of the sun.

She sighed, "It will be a depressing day."

The room felt cold and she was growing impatient as her toes fidget. She had the urge to stand up and started pacing the room. Her heart felt somewhat empty and knowing that something happened back then with Yato.

She had forgotten somebody. In her head thoughts ran all over the place. Without a doubt, she knew who she was forgetting about.

''That's right...remember.'

Her eyes widen and looked around for the voice she heard. Nothing. Nobody was there with her. She shook her head and thought that she was going crazy.

''I just need to rest.'

She walked to her bed and lied down closing her eyes. Immediately she fell asleep.

After hours of sleeping, a gush of wind brushed against her immediately waking her up. Hisano rose from her bed looking at the time.

4:47 p.m

She found it unusual for her to sleep for that long. She turned the knob on her door, walking down the stairs and turning the corner to the living room. There she found Mama Lani and Hiyori. Hiyori glanced at Hisano and stood up.

"Oh Hiyori." Hisano said. "What are you doing here?" She walked next to them.

"I was just worried since you didn't go to school today and you haven't been taking my calls."

The grogginess took over her and she caressed her arm. Mama Lani noticed and insisted her to sit down as she gets some tea for her.

"I'm sorry I worried you. I just didn't want to go to school." Hisano admitted. Hiyori tilted her head and narrowed her eyes at Hisano.

"Something is going on. I can tell by the look in your eyes. Now tell me what's going on?" Hisano glanced around and sighed.

"I don't know what I'm feeling..." Her eyes landed on her legs shaking. "I just... I feel like I'm forgetting something or someone. My head has been hurting since yesterday." She continued. Then Hiyori remembered something from last night. A memory she was trying to suppress.

Mama Lani came back with tea and some biscuits. She handed one for both of them and left.

"Well are you gonna be alright for the night?" Hiyori asked.

Hisano nodded but hesitated.

"I made plans for tomorrow and we can cancel it if-"

"No I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be alright for tomorrow. What plans did you make?" Hisano continued.

"Umm. I planned we should go to the festival tomorrow." She stopped and sighed. "Yato and Yukine is also coming." Hisano nodded.

As soon as the sun started to set. Hiyori left and Hisano was sitting there on the window looking outside at the sky. For once in her lifetime she didn't see any storm of phantoms ahead. It was rather an unusual day after everything that has happened.

Far in the distance. There three people stood looking at a certain dark pathway.

"Revert, Mori! Revert, Aruji!" Two shinkis stood next to their Lady.

"Uzume-sama, this is looking bad." The owl shinki, Morisa commented.

"Yeah yeah I know." Uzume stood there thinking with her arms crossed.

" It's almost time. And there's no evidence she's gonna be able to survive the awakening." The dagger shinki, Arujisa said.

Uzume hummed and tapped her foot on the ground impatiently.

"But there's no evidence, she wouldn't be able to survive." Morisa argumented back. They both looked at their lady who was silent the whole entire time.

"Uzume-sama.."

She opened her eyes and glancing around her surroundings. "Did anyone notice that the crops haven't growing that well. Agriculture stock has gone down since yesterday. All my crops back home all gone bad." The goddess complained. The two shinkis were confused.

"Well we can just grow new ones. It'll be all ready just time for the party." Arujisa replied.

"That's not the point. The sunlight is poisoned. The storm is just brewing into something big. Until then we can't do anything to interfere." The goddess stated turning her back and walking away from the scene.

"My lady. Are you saying we are just gonna leave Hisano-sama alone to-"

"Yes." She glared at the two shinkis after cutting Morisa off. They put their heads down, closing their eyes as well.

The shinkis looked upon on the cave that held the very void of ripple in the balance of nature. A void that will open with nothing to stop it. The fate that was already destined to come was racing towards the future. However it will depend on what Hisano will do.

"What will the future look like?"
