"Are you sure I look alright? My hair doesn't look weird wavy? I'm not underdressed am I?" Ari list all the possible things that could be wrong with her outfit.
"No!" I assure her."You look hot Ari, now let's go."
"Are you going to drink tonight or do you want to drive?" Ari asks, as she puts away the last of her makeup.
"Do you mind driving? I will next time I promise."
"Yeah it's okay, I didn't really want to drink anyway. Let's go now," she says. The two of us walk up the stairs, then call our goodbyes to uncle Rob.
"Good luck trying to drive on the wrong side of the road," I snicker as I climb into the passenger seat. She sticks her tongue out at me then pulls the car onto the road. I flick through the stations, until deciding on a Bruno Mars song.
It takes approximately 10 minutes to get to the city and the signs weren't difficult to follow at all.
"Where do we go now?" I ask.
"There must be a club close," she replies, driving down a random street.
"Is that one?" I point to a large building with lights shining brightly.
"Yeah, I think so." She parks the car just down the street, only a short walk to the entrance. We climb out of the car, making sure we have our ID's and money.
"Hurry, it's freezing out!" I yell to her, already a few steps ahead. She laughs lightly, but runs to catch up with me. We half jog half walk to the entrance, then wait in the short line to get in.
"ID?" The tall man with big muscles and a deep British accent says to us when it's our turn. Ari and I hand him over our ID's, he passes them back moments later, nodding for us to go in.
"Let's go to the bar," I grab her hand and drag her across the room to the bar. The entire room is very dark, the only lightning being the flashing stage lights. I can barely make out Ari's face right in front of me.
"One shot of vodka please," I tell the bartender, a tall girl with big shoulders and her dark brown hair tied in an elastic. She nods her head then quickly places the clear liquid in front of me.
Picking up the small cup, I place it to my lips, then quickly throw it back. The burning of the liquid ignites my whole body, tspreading through my throat, chest and stomach."Another."
I repeat the process a few more times, by then my entire body is buzzing and I feel extremely light."Ari dance with me!" I take her hand and leading her onto the dance floor, squishing myself between many bodies that are hot and sticky with sweat. I interlock my hands with my sisters and wave them up in the air, swinging my hips in the most non-sexy way possible. I jump up and down to the loud bass of the music, something I've clearly never heard before, it's way out of my music genres.
"May I cut in?" A deep voice says in his British accent. I look at Ari, nodding my head in the boys direction, telling her it's okay if she wants to dance with him."I mean you, love," the voice says again. He touches my hand ever so lightly, making me turn to him.
"Me?" I ask, trying to hide my shock, Ari's always the one that get's asked to dance. He nods his head, confirming my assumption. I look at Ari, a torn expression on my face, not wanting to leave my sister, but wanting to dance with the boy.
"I'm just going to go get a water," Ari says, a sly smile on her lips.
"May I?" he asks, holding out his hand. I turn to fully face him, and attempt to take in his features in the dark room. He's tall, a good four inches taller than me, which makes me have to crane my neck to look at him, and I'm not short, above average height for a girl. He has a defined jaw line, and dark curls. That's all I can make of his appearance.
