[HIATUS] The Amulet Series: Queen of Fire [REWRITE]

Welcome fellow reader who has stumbled upon my book! My name is Cici, the writer/author (whatever you wish to call it) of Queen of Fire.

I would like to take this moment to thank you for choosing to take a little peek into Queen of Fire, and for giving my book this chance! *Happy author noises*

For those readers returning (or readers who were waiting for the new draft, you know who you are), well, thanks for coming back! Your support is most important!

We are onto draft two! *throws confetti*

I've actually had time to try and further flesh out this book and fix the mess that high school me had created, otherwise known as "not planning" the book and simply "winging" it. Little did past me know, I cannot live without a plan. I've discovered that planning things that go off on a completely different tangent than dear ol' Mother Earth is actually exciting and a lot of fun, and so I hope you will also feel the same as you read. Thanks to everyone who gave feedback on the first draft, because they helped in the planning!

I am rather proud of this draft, and having been given the time to try and develop my characters a little bit more, as in mould them from what I had five years ago, to shape them into more realistic and relatable characters with hopes and dreams, fears and insecurities, strengths and weaknesses, as well as a past with the implications of building a future for themselves.

And then I take all that away, HA! *distant character screaming sounds*

Aaaanyways, I'm still your one and only amateur writer in a world of story weavers, attempting to tell my tale as best as my writer brain would allow me, and so I do appreciate constructive criticism. And like always, please do leave the hate by the door; the salt is allowed though, we could make fries or something outta those.

I guess I still haven't learned that authors' notes are supposed to be short and sweet because, well, I still have that teeny tiny microscopic problem called writing-essays-on-things-that-don't-need-essays. ;) Some things don't change.

Once again, thank you for deciding to read, this means a lot to me! If you do happen to notice any errors or anything you'd like to point out for the future, do let me know! This is only the second draft, and well, it's not perfect. I've known a lot of books that have had over ten or so drafts, so this is really just the beginning.
