*Lainey's POV*
"Jason?"
"Lainey, where were you? I texted you 10 times and you never responded." He sounded pissed.
"Why would I want to talk to a liar and a cheater?" I asked.
"What are you talking about?" He asked, confused.
"I saw you sleeping with my so-called best friend, Jason. I went looking for you and Maria and then boom. I see you guys having sex."
"Listen Lainey. I'm sor-"
"I don't wanna hear your excuses Jason. You need to leave." He didn't move a muscle.
"Jason, just leave if you know what's best for you." Shawn said.
"This isn't over." He said as he walked away. I slammed the door and tears just rolled down my eyes. Why would my boyfriend cheat on me with my best friend? Am I just not good enough?
"Don't say stuff like that Lainey. You deserve so much better than that douchebag." Shit he heard me.
"I don't know what to think anymore, but thanks for sticking up for me Shawn. I don't know what I'd do without you." I pulled him into a hug.
"Anytime. I'm always here for you. No matter what." He hugged me and we stayed there until he calmed me down.
"Do you wanna have a Disney movie marathon? That always cheers you up." He asked me.
"As long as we watch Aladdin first." I smiled. This kid always knows how to cheer me up. I love him so much. Did I really just say I love him? He's my best friend..
I popped the movie in and got the blankets while Shawn got the ice cream and popcorn. We laid next to each other on my bed and started the movie. We ended up watching Big Hero 6, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast after Aladdin ended. I looked over to see what movie he wanted to watch next, only to see that he had fallen asleep on my shoulder. I changed it to Netflix and put on Stranger Things. About 15 minutes into the episode, I felt my eyes starting to droop. The next thing I knew, I had fallen asleep.

Hey guys. I'm sorry that it's such a short chapter and that I've been horrible at updating. I've been dealing with a lot of stuff lately and just haven't had the motivation to write. I'm going to be posting as much as I can before next semester starts. I'll try to post every 2-3 days. I love you guys and thank you for reading this shitty story of mine :)
