Aria's POV

It's Friday and I just got home from school. Naomi and Maddy said they wanted me to come with them later but I said I'll think about it.

I'm watching Kingdom from Netflix when my phone rang.

It's an unknown number which made me think who it is. There are only two people in this school that knows my number and the rest is my gang and some people I know outside.

I answer it without saying a word waiting for it to say something.

Uhm hello?

I didn't answer which made him sigh

How on earth did you get my number?

I got it from one of your friends

Why?

Because of our project?

What about it?

I'll be there in five.

He ended the call without my approval. I turn off the tv and sigh. I go to the kitchen and cook dinner because I know for sure he'll eat here.

It took him a while before he came to my house so I ate while I wait. Right after I did the dishes I heard a knock from my door, of course, I open it.

He enters without a word and went straight to the kitchen, rude.
"

You hungry?" I ask "yes," he said and sat on one of the stool. "I knew it" I replied in a matter-of-fact and gave him lasagna

"You cook?"

I look at him in an are-you-serious face and he just laughs as he eats "hmmmmsbsj" unbelievable

"Stop talking when you have food in your mouth," I said in disgust. He just laughs.

I sat in front of him "I have a question" he said "spill"

"Do you know how to sing?" He asks "what's with the weird question?"

"You're not supposed to answer a question with another question. Anyway, go change we'll go out" he said while putting the dishes in the sink

"I'll wash-" he cut me off  "you go change, I can manage," he said while smiling

Once I step my foot in the living room I met by darkness. "What are you doing," I said calmly. I know he'll do nothing, but if he does something I'll beat him up.

"A bar?!" I gasp "no! It's a coffee shop" he groans which makes me chuckle "It looks like a bar to me" I said and enter the supposedly coffee shop.

"You're going to sing, k?" He said while dragging me to a room backstage "what? How'd you know I sing?" I stop my track "well I hear you humming during class" he said

"And that you can tell I can sing?" I raise my eyebrow at him "yep" he replies. "What do I get in return if I sing here?" I ask him. "You won't have to worry about the project".

"Okay it's a deal" I said as I scan the room and saw a guitar "mind if I--?" I ask and look at him, he just nods.

"You can play the guitar?" He asks I chuckle "there's a lot of things you clearly don't know about me"
