Aria's POV

It's been 2 months since my thing happened.

I eventually thought of us 8 as a family because of those two months, I get to know them better but not me.

I told them some shitty excuse on why I don't want to talk about my background so they won't bother asking again.

Naomi and Maddy still wear the necklaces that I gave them and surprisingly, I got less attention from Cherry and her soldiers.

The principal said she's gonna talk to us later about our prize for being second and I thought why would they give us prize if we're just second place

this school apparently hasn't been on the top 3 in a long time.

I'm in my chemistry class and first even bother to listen because I already knew the topic since I do advance study.

"Hey" Nathan whispers and I just race my brow at him "let's go to the park later" he whispers again

"Mr. Perez-" and that, ladies and gentlemen is the end of Nathan Perez right here.

As the teacher lectures him on how, I quote 'so loud', he was, I just try not to laugh at his face.

"That's not funny," he said and I shake my head "but it is!"

"Ma'am Aria's talking to me," he said while pointing at me and I gave our teacher with that i-do not-know-what-he's-talking-about look

"Two days detention for you Mr. Perez"

I swear I wanted to laugh so hard but unfortunately, I couldn't. He just gave me a mad look at the entire Chemistry class.

Soon the bell rang and we went outside the room "so as I was talking about earlier, I think it's a good idea if we have a picnic later after class"

"Hmm, I don't know. With you on detention? You'd miss out" I mock him "it's just an hour" and gave me an eye roll

I was about to go to my next class when

"All the competitors in the Competition, please go to the principal's office asap. Thank you" someone announced at the speaker.

I look at my teacher that's about to enter as well and he nodded. So here I am making my way to the office, meeting my friends on the way

"I feel it! It's a trip!" Andrew said "for second place? You really think that?" Naomi ask

"There's no harm in dreaming" he replied "maybe she's just gonna give us some kind of shitty coupons," I said and they all look at me

"What?"

"Don't be like that! Youre so not fun" Andrew snapped and they laugh while I raise my brow at him

"wanna bet?" I ask and he agreed

We arrived at her office with all 10 of us. Of course hearing Cherry's high pitched voice is the highlight of the day.

"So like what I've said, I'll give you your prize." She paused and take out something from her drawer.

What the hell?! Freaking plane tickets! P.L.A.N.E T.I.C.K.E.T.S!
I lost the bet. Sad

Andrew leans on me "I won" he whispers with a smirk

"Here's your prize! 10 plane tickets to Korea! You all need to contact your parents with this because no teacher will be with you"

Everyone cheered with those words. No adult? This is gonna be fun.

"You'll stay there for 1 week. You'll leave when the break starts"
She said she'll give us the tickets when it's time to leave because we might lose the tickets which made sense

Before we leave she called us again "here, free coupons, it might be useful there" she gave us coupons!

We went outside the office "ha! Coupons!" I said "these kids," Naomi said while shaking her head.

By the way, these coupons are not useful, it looks like it's about a hundred years old.

Classes just finished and now I'm getting ready for the picnic that they wanted to do. They didn't want me to cook something because they said the boys will do it.

Maddy and Naomi came to my house and went to the park. "It's about time!" Blue said

"Hey! We have to get ready nicely!" Maddy said and flipped her hair.

"You wouldn't go through that whole getting ready thing if you don't maintain being ugly" he snorts

"Oh! You wanna talk about being ugly?!"

"I bet no guy wants you," Blue said and stick his tongue out "Wanna bet?" Maddy said with her brow raised

"It's on sister" we laugh at Blue saying that while snapping his fingers

"Could you guys do that some other time" Nathan said "yeah, we'll definitely do it next time"

It didn't take long when we started eating. "Ok, ok, my turn! What do you call a fat psychic?" Naomi asks and we ask what

"A four-chin teller! HAHA!" I chuckle and the boys laugh at her while Maddy here is struggling to understand "wha-what?"

"Ugh! Four. Like number four, and then your chin. Fortune, four chin? Get it now?" Naomi explained

See, we came to the part where they share bad jokes and Maddy doesn't get any of them. Once her mind had processed the joke she starts laughing

"Oh my God, that's a good one!"

"Oh my God youre so dumb!" Blue laughed "oh my God your ugly!"

"Says the one who needed to look nice" and Daddy just stick her tongue out

"Andrew, knock knock," Gray said, "who's there?" Andrew asks
"Doris"

"Doris who?"

"Doris locked to I had to knock"

"What? There's no door?" Andrew started to look for doors at the park "oh my God, can you all get any dumber" I said while I chuckle

"Well, I tried," he said and takes another bite of the pie

"What does Batman likes in his drink?" Nathan asks and we, of course, ask what

"Just ice!" We look at him in silence "is that what you get after getting two days detention?" I ask

"Oh no honey, you didn't this time," Naomi said while shaking her head

"Nice try, but no"

"oh come on! You're all mean!" Andrew crosses his arms and we laugh

Somehow, these people get along together despite being so different. You know, just like Abi, Ace, Ethan and I.

It really feels that I've known them for so long yet I just met them. There's no awkwardness what so ever. I like it.

Unfortunately, Black Ghost and Dark Veins are rivals. Maybe one day, but I don't know. I just wish they would stay out of our gang.

The rest of the day went smoothly. We laughed, told bad jokes, and humiliate each other with stupid dares.
