"HERMIONE WAKE UP!" Ivy took a nearby water glass and dumped on Hermione's face.

"Ivy I wanna sleep," Hermione's bushy hair was soaking wet, but the half asleep girl didn't notice.

"Well we havta go to Dragon Alley or whatever it's called."

"Diagon Alley," Hermione corrected impatiently.

"I can't remember everything, Hermione."

"You should," Hermione was getting out of bed and grabbing a nearby towel to dry off her bushy hair.

"Well Imma head downstairs," Ivy ran to the stairs, sprinting down, leaping over the last few.

"We have to head to London, and we're not particularly close, about an hour's drive, so get dressed, Hermione!" the two girls' dad yelled up the stairs, after seeing Ivy come down.

"I'm coming!" Hermione yelled back huffily. "I have to dry my hair because somebody needed to drop some water all over my face!"

Ivy held her hands up in surrender, "She wasn't up."

Dr. Evelyn sighed, "I thought we told you to stop doing that."

"Sorry," Ivy muttered with fake regret. She was definitely doing that again.

"Well, regardless, we're supposed to meet a Ms. Pomona Sprout at some bookstore. They sent us an address, so we'll just check the maps and find our way there."

"So Professor McGonagall isn't going to show us through Diagon Alley?"

"No, the letter we received said that Professor McGonagall was busy getting ready for the school year. She is, after all, the deputy headmistress," Dr. Myles informed them.

"ALMOST READY!" Hermione yelled from the girls' room.

"We're running late, so hurry up, hon!" Evelyn Granger called back up. She then lowered her voice, "Do you and Hermione have bags to put your school stuff in?"

"I have mine, dunno about Hermione, but probably," Ivy held up a random bag she'd found in the back of the closet.

Hermione walked down the stairs with at least ten bags.

"You needed one bag," Ivy reminded her dryly.

"But I'm going to have to buy a lot of books!"

"Of course you are," Ivy muttered. "Just so you can be even more of a know-it-all."

"Heard that," Hermione said.

Ivy closed her eyes and rolled them.

"I know what you're doing."

"Oh, shut up."

Hermione glared at her.

"Let's go!" Dr. Evelyn pointed out the door with her left arm, moving her right arm in a circle to signify moving. Everyone sprinted out the door to the car, except for Hermione, who was being dragged by Ivy as she read a book. Everyone shuffled into the car, and the family drove out to London.

An hour or so later, they had arrived in London. It had not been the most fun of trips, with Hermione complaining about having finished her book, and Ivy telling her to shut up while staring out the window.

"FINALLY!" Ivy almost collapsed as she fell out of the left side of the car.

Myles, Evelyn, and Hermione  got out normally, Hermione with the instruction manual for the car.

"Why do you have the car instruction manual again?" Ivy asked as she righted herself.

"Because I needed something to read, duh. You've known me for ten years, why do you still question it?" Hermione said as she put the car manual back.

"I dunno anymore," Ivy muttered tiredly. "I dunno."

"Heard that."

Ivy stuck her tongue out as she walked to the front of the car. The four of them stood on the sidewalk, looking for the bookstore.

"Over there!" Dr. Myles pointed excitedly across the street.

"What's that weird place next to it?" Ivy asked.

"The bakery?" the girls' mother asked.

"No, the one between the bakery and the bookstore," Hermione said.

"There's nothing there, girls. Just a wall," Dr. Myles said.

"But...right there..." Ivy protested.

There was in fact something between the bookstore and the bakery, at least as far as Ivy and Hermione could see. That section of the building was made of a very old looking brick, with an old looking sign with a cauldron on it. Hermione and Ivy squinted to read it.

"The...Leaky...Cauldron," Hermione read slowly as she squinted to read the blurry letters. "That one."

"There's nothing called the Leaky Cauldron here, girls," Myles and Evelyn were confused.

"Let's just go to the bookstore," Ivy shrugged it off. Their parents were getting old, maybe their eyesight was off.

Everyone nodded, Hermione still staring at the Leaky Cauldron. Ivy could practically see the gears turning in her head, trying to explain the strange place. Myles opened the door for everyone, and a small and stout woman with curly gray hair walked over to them, smiling.

"Are you the Granger family?"

"Yes, we are. Are you Pomona Sprout?" Evelyn asked politely.

"Professor Sprout to you, Hermione and Ivy, but Pomona to your parents. Follow me to Diagon Alley."

"Can't we buy some books first?" Hermione asked hopefully, staring longingly at the books in the store.

Professor Sprout opened her mouth to say yes but Myles and Ivy opened their mouths first, "No."

"Well, let's go then!" Professor Sprout cheerily led them out of the bookshop and in front of the Leaky Cauldron.

"Why are we in front of a wall?" Evelyn asked.

"This is the Leaky Cauldron, only visible by witches and wizards. I'll lead you inside, and then you'll be able to see it," Professor Sprout explained, opening the door and politely pushing the girls' parents in. The girls followed eagerly. Finally, they would get to see more witches and wizards, and get wands, and whatever other things they would need.
