"Alright, we've gotten everything except books and wands, and pets if you wish," Professor Sprout finally announced.

Hermione was beaming.

"There's Flourish and..." Professor Sprout's voice trailed off.

Ivy looked over. It was Harry again, with the giant man. She clearly doesn't want somebody over there, either Hermione or I probably. But why?

"Anybody want a pet? Owl, cat, or toad," Professor Sprout asked quickly.

"Owls send wizarding mail, right?" Ivy asked.

"Yes."

"Then I want an owl," she decided.

"Then we should head to Eeylops Owl Emporium," Professor Sprout led them to a strange looking shop with strange noises coming out.

When they walked in the noises suddenly got louder, and Ivy started looking around in awe. Higher up were owls in little cages, and lower were different cats, and you could hear some toads farther back.

"What type of owl could I get?"

"Any kind you can think of."

Ivy saw snowy owls, barn owls, and so many other types of owls, many of which she didn't know the name of, but one caught her eye. A tawny owl, Ivy was pretty sure was the species.

"Ooh, that tawny owl up there."

Professor Sprout looked up, "I'll ask the shopkeeper. Can you hand me the money? It's eight galleons."

Ivy grabbed eight gold coins, "It's the gold ones, right?"

Professor Sprout nodded, and Ivy handed her the money.

"That owl is so cute," Hermione noted.

Evelyn put her hand on her adoptive daughter, "The owl looks perfect, sweetie."

Suddenly, the bell rang as the door opened, and the giant man walked in, only without the boy. He saw Ivy and his eyes quickly widened, before he blinked and brought them back to normal.

" 'Ello Pomona," he smiled, acting like he hadn't been staring at Ivy like she was an eldritch horror

Where is Harry though?

"Hagrid," Professor Sprout turned around with the owl, and acknowledged him, noticing that Harry was absent. She walked over towards Ivy, holding the owl and cage out.

Ivy took it gently, and looked into the owl's eyes. They were chocolate colored, and she smiled. The owl hooted in response.

"I think I'll name you..." Ivy's voice trailed off as she thought.

"Rowena, Helga, Helena...there are so many great famous witch names!" Hermione exclaimed.

"Rowena, like Rowena Ravenclaw? Yeah, I did a little research," Ivy said proudly.

"Yes, and Helga like Helga Hufflepuff, and Helena like Rowena's daughter...ooh or you could—"

"Rowena. I like that one. It suits her," Ivy interrupted.

"That's a beautiful name," Myles Granger stepped in.

Ivy smiled, "Now I suppose we get books, right? Then wands."

"Your parents and I can get books. It would be great if you two got wands on your own. It's an important time, and I think it'll be better if we're not there," Professor Sprout explained.

"I won't get to pick out boo—"

"Sounds great! We can get more books later, right?"

"Oh, of course," Professor Sprout assured Hermione. "Oh, and Ollivander's is over there." She pointed outside the window and towards an old looking shop.
