History

Thousands of years ago, the werewolves were struggling to survive, so the Moon goddess herself took it upon herself to intervene and help. To help them, she chose seven wolves, later known as "The Blessed", and gifted them with a special ability. She explained that the gift she blessed them with would, overtime, help the werewolf population as a whole. She said that as The Blessed found their mates and had children, that new gifts would be born along with the children. As hundreds of years passed, most packs around the world now had at least a few pack members with a gift, and as time went on, nearly every wolf was born with a gift. There started to be common gifts and uncommon gifts. Some common ones were partial shifting, an extra enhanced sense, and extreme strength or speed. Uncommon ones included seeing the future, controlling an element, and even one time, speaking with and seeing the dead. As the gifts spread, powerful packs, made up of strong wolves, began to emerge. Some packs even began to become notorious for their ability to produce new wolves with different or powerful abilities. Some speculated that it was the land that the packs inhabited while others argued that the pack had somehow earned the favor of the Moon Goddess. Jealously began to be directed toward these packs and they soon became targeted. Most of these packs were slowly taken down due to the fact that opposing packs would join forces against them. Nowadays packs don't advertise their ability to produce special gifted pups, although there are only a couple that actually do anymore. They are powerful with a few quirks and often notorious for their power.
