Hashirama threw himself over Misty as the woman's blade slashed down. She managed to get control of her blade before it made contact with his skin and only tore his clothes. He turned to the woman with anger. "Mito why?!" She looked at him with the same anger. "Hashirama I don't understand why you stay with a woman who can no longer move. She is no longer a shinobi, she can't even bear you any children!" Hashirama glared at her getting up. "I love her Mito. I don't care if she can't move and can no longer bare children! I love her and will stay by her side no matter what!" Misty woke to their shouts and looked at them rubbing her eyes. "Mito? What are you doing in here with that knife? Is everything alright?" Mito glared at her when the door flew open. Mito ran at Hashirama as Izuna and Madara ran at her grabbing her, holding her back and making her drop her knife. "I will have you Hashirama! I will have you begging at my feet while Misty lay dead! I swear it!" Misty's eyes were wide as the two Uchiha brothers dragged her out. Hashirama got on his knees in front of Misty and pulled her into his arms as tears left his eyes. "I'm sorry Misty." Misty just stared off in shock. She soon wrapped her arms around him and rubbed his back soothingly. "Do not fret Hashirama. Everything will be fine. Even if I can't run, I can still fight." She fought back everything so she would stay strong for Hashirama. Hashirama sat up wiping his eyes. "Misty, what do you suppose we do with her?" Misty shook her head. "I'm sure she'll run. We'll leave her be." He nodded and the two Uchiha brothers walked in, or more like stormed in. Izuna jumped at Misty holding onto her. "Misty! Are you alright!? She didn't get to you did she!?" Misty shook her head smiling at her brother. "I'm fine Izuna. Madara stood there with his arms crossed. "She better not come back. Hashirama, can I speak to her alone?" Hashirama nodded getting up leaving. "That means you too Izuna." Izuna nodded getting up following Hashirama. Madara closed the door tightly before turning to his sister. "Misty. I have a proposition to make with you." She looked at him confused as he walked to her. He grabbed her around the waist gently as he sat down and pulled her into his lap. "Run away with me. We can try to find something to get these working again, and you can always be by my side." Her eyes widened as she looked up at him. "But Nii-san, that in tails that I must leave Hashirama and Izuna. How could you think of such a thing?" He sighed leaning his forehead down on hers. "Misty, why can't you understand that I care for you? Why can't you care more for me more than them?" She wrapped her arms around his neck sighing. "I know you care for me big brother. I love you like any sister would. Lat me stay, at least for a little while longer." He nodded in her hair. "Don't stay for to long. I don't want something to go wrong." She nodded smiling as he kissed her neck before laying her down and getting up to leave the room. Izuna bound in the room happily with Hashirama following. Misty looked at them confused and Hashirama scooped her up in his arms. "We are going to a festival in two nights my dear!" She smiled at him. "Sounds lovely!" Her face fell remembering her condition. "Don't worry about your legs my dear, I'll carry you upon my shoulder the entire time!" She smiled softly at him but felt bad about making him do it. He picked me up spinning me around happily. Izuna tapped his chin in thought. "Hey Hashirama, did Mito take off with her kid?" Hashirama looked at the ground a little sadly. "Yes, but it is her child. I have my wife so what do I need to be concerned about? I never loved Mito, the child was supposed to be a replacement of Misty and I's, but I guess Mito thought otherwise. If she chooses to take it then so be it. Yes it is upsetting, but there is nothing I can do about it." Misty looked at Hashirama apologetically. "I'm sorry dear. I can't give you an offspring to continue the lineage." He shook his head. "Don't worry about it! You did give me one! And he's no longer here. I failed as his father to protect him. You tried your best as his mother, but it was supposed to be my job to protect you both." Misty put her hand on his cheek as he frowned thinking of Hiroko. The room fell silent as everyone remembered the boy. Izuna was the one to break the silence as he ran over taking Misty from Hashirama. "Come on! Let's go pick out your Yukata for the festival!" Once the two were gone Madara moved next to Hashirama. "Do you think things will ever get any better Madara? Or will we live in this thriving sadness for the rest of our lives?" Madara sighed. "Misty is strong, as are you, but the question is. When are you two ready to move on? Misty moved on from the anger and hurt she felt as a child from our father when she killed him. What you two do to move on from any situation that is giving you suffrage is up to you two." Hashirama nodded. "Thank you Madara. You know, you've always been there for us, and I couldn't tell who it was for sometimes. I now know though." Hashirama walked away after that statement and Madara narrowed his eyes at him.
The night of the festival was very bright and warm with many smiles. The four had much fun though Madara did keep an eye on Hashirama. Nothing seemed more perfect that night. The following day Hashirama was outside reading some papers when some men came in yelling for Madara. Hashirama raised an eyebrow at them seeing as they were his men. He hid around the corner listening to the argument as Madara confronted them. "What is this all about you sleeping with Lady Misty!?" Hashirama's eyes widened not believing what he was hearing. He ran into the compound not even confronting Madara and headed straight for Misty. She was still sleeping in their room soundly. Hashirama dropped onto his knees above her with his brother's words echoing through his mind about the Uchiha. He grabbed her by the front of her Yukata and opened it looking for marks but found non. He closed it before shaking her awake. "Misty!" Her eyes widened as she looked at him with fear as he was shouting at her. He held her with such anger. "What is this about you sleeping with your brother!? When?! Have you been leaving me in the night for him!?" She glared at him grasping what his anger was about. "What ever would put this nonsense in your mind dear? Has Mito been here whispering things to you?" He glared at her tenfold grasping her Yukata tighter. "Don't play stupid with me! What did he want you in the room alone for the other night!? Can you not tell me?!" I narrowed my eyes at him. "I don't have to tell you the discussions I have with my brother Hashirama. Now let me go." It was almost like he was growling with anger. The door flew open and Izuna shoved Hashirama off his sister pulling her to him. "You whore! You've been sleeping with them both haven't you!?" Izuna gave him a disgusted look. "Have you gone mad Hashirama!? Get the hell out of here! How dare you accuse my sister of such indecency!" Madara threw the door open glaring at Hashirama. "I knew there was something going on with you." Madara walked over to Misty taking her from Izuna. "Izuna, leave. Meet me in the meeting place we discussed." Izuna nodded taking off. Madara turned towards Hashirama holding Misty in his arms. "Mito has been going behind the scenes filling your people's minds with sick thoughts and gossip. They wanted you to think badly of Misty, eventually Misty to do the same. Mito's goal was for you two to kill each other. I see you've fallen prey to her doings. You never loved my sister enough to have complete faith in her. I knew it right from the start, so I kept an eye on the both of you. Don't worry, you won't see her again, at least. Not in a caring manner." Madara turned towards the door and walked but Hashirama called out a wait holding his hand out. Madara stopped and turned to the side a bit facing him. "I, just wanted to say that I was sorry. Even if they are empty words to you." Madara turned giving no answer but Misty was on the brink of tears but holding back her emotions as they left. Madara fled the village with his sister in his arms as she cried holding onto him. Madara met Izuna in the woods a bit of a distance away. The three had taken off to an underground hideout. Over time each brother would take turns running off to go try and find a jutsu to help their sister. They would show her the signs and explain it to her, to see if she could use it or change it in some way. It took three years before they found one. Misty had created many new jutsus also with the many jutsus they had brought her. One even being to bring someone back from the dead. The person had to be freshly dead of course. She was finally able to move and they helped her move around and build up strength. Misty had also decided it was time to put an end to her suffering, and to face Hashirama.
