I'M SOO SOO SOOOOORRRYYYY I HAVEN'T UPDATED IN A LOOOOOOOOONNNGG TIME!!!!!!!! Please forgive such a useless author~ I just have so much going on, never knew high school had so many projects and so much work~ TT~TT
Sorry for the short chapter. I originally wanted to combine Chapter 7 and 8 together but then decided not to 'cause it was too long. I'll hopefully get the next chapter up by sometime next week.
Also... HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUFFY AND SABO!!!! (Though it's about a month and a half late~ sorry, Sabo!!!!!) I made an AMV for the first time for Sabo's birthday. Thought it would be a fun project for the then March holidays. So there you have it folks!
And I also realized a tiny mistake. I'm starting to pick up Japanese now, and realized there wasn't a "ye" hiragana or katakana so I'm changing Sayeko's name from "Sayeko" to "Saeko". It's still the same pronunciation (sa-e-ko).
So yeah.
Please forgive me!!! And I hope you like this chapter

"Koko, who was that?" Luffy asked as they ran along the familiar dirt path to grab some crocodile to sell.
And eat, of course.
Saeko smiled as she looked ahead, "A friend, though he is barely visible. I think it's because of a devil fruit."
Besides, I still need to get some work done.

The water rushed along the river below the branch they were on, crocodiles lurking beneath the waves just waiting for their prey to fall into their traps. It wouldn't last long, though.
"Wanna go for some crocodile?" Ace asked as he bit his finger down, a smirk playing with his cute little freckles.
"Crocodile meat sure is tasty!" Luffy remarked as the three of them looked down upon their soon-to-be dinner.
"Luffy, don't get eaten this time!" Sabo reminded a smile on his lips as he remembered the incident, "Last time, you only survived because of your inflated body." The memory of seeing Luffy getting swallowed up by that gator sent chuckles escaping from his lips.
"Just watch," Ace told him, "You can't swim so you'll only get in our way..." Before he could finish, however, Luffy pushed off from the branch, shouting while punching his fist into the air, "Crocodile meat!"
"I/He told you to just watch, didn't I/he?!"Ace and Sabo shouted back as they jumped after the bungling little kid, both their eyes slanted in anger as tick marks formed on their heads.
The crocodile below opened its jaws wide, its sharp teeth glinting in the sun, anticipating its next meal. The poor crocodiles...

She wiped the sweat from her forehead as she refocused on the task before her, Almost done... Heat radiated from the burning coals in the furnace as she screwed the last of the bolts in place. Saeko sighed in relief as she took a step back to admire her work, pulling her goggles on her forehead.
Four lockets laid on the worktable, silver metal reflecting off the red flames of the furnace; one had the engraving of a top hat with goggles around the rim, another had a straw hat with a band of fabric going around the edge engraved on it, the next had a fedora hat engraved on the front, while the last had the picture of a cowboy hat, two smiley faces, one grinning, another frowning, along with beads going around the edge, engraved on the front. The back had their names were written in order: Sabo, Luffy, Saeko and Ace.
