Alex's POV

"Wake up, honey! You don't want to start your first day of school coming late in class again, don't you?"

"No, I guess.." You stretch your arms and legs, you weren't that lazy to get up because you wanted to see your best friend, Nicole. She was the only friend that you knew well.

As you went downstairs, your mom was cooking your favorite breakfast, pancakes.

"Eat up, dear. I'm sure this will be delicious."

When you were done eating, you looked at the mirror before you took a bath. Your hair was completely messy. You were really concerned about your body, so you quickly went to the shower and cleaned yourself up.

After that, you dressed up with just a plain outfit, a black pair of converse, skinny jeans and a blue shirt with a drawing of a little bunny. You didn't actually care about what you looked like, so you were okay with your outfit.

You brushed your teeth, grabbed your phone and your backpack and gave your mom a kiss before you went out. Your dad was at work, and he would only be home at night time.

You took a walk to school, when you arrived, all most everyone you knew was gone. They all transferred. You scanned the halls to find the only friend you knew, Nicole.

"Hey.. Long time no see!" Nicole said happily.

"Hey!" you give her a hug. Now that you two have met, you decided to walk together to class.

You went to your class room, you scanned the class room to find three vacant seats. The other one was for Nicole obviously. But you had no idea who will sit next to you.

The teacher was kind, she introduced herself. Her name was Mrs. Smith. Her hairstyle was just a simple ponytail, and wearing glasses. I like people with glasses. Anyway, before she could tell more information about herself, she let the new kids introduce themselves first.

"Hi, I'm Luke. Luke Hemmings." A guy with blonde hair said. He had his lip pierced, which made him even hott- wait no. I can't just say that. Well, as I expected, almost all of the girls had a crush on him already. As I looked at Nicole, it seems like she has a crush on him, too.

Luke sat down, looking shy, but still confident.

"Hi! I'm Ashton Irwin!" A guy with an innocent face said. He had some-sort of curly hair, and he was wearing glasses. It looks like he has a nice personality but.. Why do I judge almost everyone who wears glasses, though? As he took a seat, another guy stood up.

"I'm Michael Clifford!" The guy said confidently. His hair was black, another part of it dyed blue, the blue part was served as his bangs. He was cute, and kind of shy.

The three students had an Australian accent, which made them even cuter.

The other transferees introduced themselves, I couldn't name everyone of them, since it was only me and Nicole who were the old students left.

"Okay, now that you all have introduced yourselves, I will now show my talent, singing!" She exclaimed.

I bet she had a nice voice, not that I judged her quickly but, I just placed my bet that she does sing nicely.

She sang Breakeven, by The Script. But sadly.. It went awful and out of tone. I seriously didn't want to hear the next line.

What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you,

And what am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up and you're okay.

I'm falling to piec-

Her attention was caught to the door that opened. I saw a guy with glasses.. again. Great. 3 people in this class with glasses. He seemed innocent looking.

"I see you're late, Mr. Hood." The teacher said with a grumpy look.

"I'm sorry Mrs. Smith." Oh look.. Another guy with an Australian accent.

"Please introduce yourself, I'll continue my song later." Mrs. Smith said, I didn't want to hear her singing again though..

"H-Hi.. I'm Calum. Calum H-Hood." He said stuttering. He's really a shy guy. When he was done introducing himself to the class, he scanned for a vacant seat. He sat next to me, he layed his green backpack down, and looked at the teacher. He seemed adora- not right now. I can't just fall for him like that. He's a nerd.

Nicole's POV

Alex seemed to fall for Calum. I saw her reaction when Calum introduced himself to the class. He looked innocent, really. But he was a Nerd, if anyone bullies him, I'm sure Alex will stand up for him.

I sent Alex a note saying "Do you like that Calum guy? Haha." As I passed her the note, she freaked out silently.

Alex's POV

"What the hell is she saying?" I whispered to myself. I wrote her back saying "No.. Why would I?"

It still seems strange that she would think of that to me. When we were actually best friends.

Nicole wrote back saying "Don't lie to me xx"

Ugh, I can't just keep a secret to my best friend.

I wrote back saying "Fine. I do abit, but please.. Keep it as a secret." I confessed.

She nodded and smiled, hiding the paper in her backpack.

"Alright, since it's the first day of school, I wont be giving you guys assignments for now." Mrs. Smith said.

The bell rang, me and Nicole went out of the class room. But I saw Calum was left behind.

Nicole's POV

Alex looked back at Calum.

"Do you want to wait for him?" I said with a smile.

"Um.. Sure. I want him to have a friend for his first day here." Alex said with a jolly grin on her face.

Calum was about to pick his backpack up.

But before we would go to Calum, Luke blocked him.

"Where do you think you're goin' Cal?" Luke said. He had a mad look, I think he's going to make a move.

"U-Um.. To my locker?" Calum said stuttering.

"Oh." Luke said. He wrapped his arm around Calum, like they were best buddies.

"Phew, I thought he was gonna do something bad." Alex said.

"So, do you play guitar?" Luke said to Calum.

"Abit.. But, I really have to go now." Calum rushed out of the classroom, Me, Alex and Luke looked at Calum while he rushed out to the classroom.

"What's his problem? I just asked if he could play guitar." Luke said.

"He's a Nerd. He's probably scared of almost everyone in the class." Alex said.

I took a stare at Luke, he seemed shocked. While I was about to open my mouth to say something,

Alex grabbed my hand to drag me out of the classroom.

"We should follow Calum. He really needs a friend." Alex said with courage.

"Sure." I said with a smile.

It took awhile to find Calum, but his locker was beside Alex's and mines.

Alex's POV

"H-Hey Calum." I said stuttering. Why did I stutter? I can't be shy.

"A-Are you gonna hurt me?" Calum said innocently.

"Of course not!.. I just want to be friends. I'm Alex and this is Nicole." I said with a smile.

"H-Hi.." Calum was shy. Extremely shy.
