Alex's POV
After Calculus Class, next was English.
Everyone took their seats.
Later, someone threw a paper at Calum teasing him.
"Don't do that!" I protested.
"Anything for your nerd!" The guys laughed. The three of us minded them, like they were air.
The teacher didn't see the bullies. It was their lucky day.
Luke, Ashton and Michael seemed quiet. They don't seem bad at all.
After the class was dismissed, Calum gathered his books and stood up, suddenly the one of the bullies went in front of him and slammed the books down, causing all of the books to fall on Calum's feet.
"OW!" Calum screamed.
"If you do that again, I swear it won't be detention that will punish you." A familiar voice was heard, when I looked at the direction where the voice came, it was Luke.
"Don't hurt him! You're just people that have nothing to do with their lives." I protested.
The bullies just laughed and got out of the classroom.
Luke helped Calum up. Calum hesitated to hold Luke's hand.
"Calum, please trust me." Luke said.
Calum hesitated for a moment, and took Luke's hand anyway. He got up.
"Does anything hurt?" Nicole asked.
"N-No.. I'm fine, thanks." Calum said.
"Calum, now that I have your attention, I would like to ask you something." Luke said.
"S-Sure.. Thank you for helping me against the bullies. I'm sorry if I thought you were a bully.." Calum said.
"Don't worry. It's always the lip pierce that makes people think that I'm a bad guy." Luke said with a smile.
"So.. I'd like to know if you would like to join my band for the Talent Show?" Luke asked with a smile.
"SURE! I WOULD LOVE TO!" Calum was jolly that he jumped and hug Nicole and me.
After a short amount of time, he remembered that he was talking to Luke.
"S-Sorry. I would love to!" Calum said it properly.
"That's great! Can we practice tomorrow after class?" Luke asked happily.
"Why not?" Calum asked with a grin.
"Alright! I'll see you tomorrow!" Luke said.
Luke, Michael and Ashton went outside of the classroom.
It was only the three of us left.
"So.. let's go to my house? It's just 3 blocks away from school." Calum said.
Me and Nicole both looked at each other and we nodded without hesitation.
Calum's POV
While walking, I had a quick flashback on what happened. I couldn't hide my happiness and I suddenly hugged Alex and Nicole. I loved how the friendship between the three of us was going well. Also when Luke asked me to join his band. That moment, it really changed my opinion to him.
Anyway, we reached my house and the two girls met my mom.
"Hi mom. Meet Alex and Nicole." I said.
"Hi lovelies! It's good that my son got new friends in school in the first day!" She said happily.
Alex and Nicole just smiled.
"We'll just go upstairs." I said.
"Alright, if you guys are hungry, there are some snacks in the kitchen!" My mother said with a grin.
We went upstairs to my room, I think it's time for the new me.
