'See you when the moon's out' must have meant to see him at nighttime, Gumball thought to himself as he slipped on his tan wool coat and pink scarf.

He grabbed his books from his light pink desk.

He walked out of his fairly large bedroom and into the hallway and down the flight of stairs.

"Going out sir?" A voice piped up behind him.

Gumball turned around quickly and smiled as he saw his maid.

A pretty gigantic mansion equals maids to keep it clean of course!

Plus, his family has money.

"Oh yes," replied Gumball, "I'm going to go study with a friend."

"Would you enjoy to be accompanied with?" she brushed a piece of short red hair from her cheek and clasped her hands in front of her stout body.

Gumball shook his head. "No thank you Miss Peppermint. I'll be back soon though!"

He waved and turned around then walked out of the mansion with Marshall's address in hand.

"Hopefully I'll be back soon..." He whispered.

Marshall Lee was sleeping, totally forgetting about his new tutor.

He was floating at least an inch and a half off the bed when suddenly there was a knock at the front door.

Marshall jumped in shock and collapsed down on the bed.

"Sh*t!" He remembered about Gumball and sat up quickly.

Did Gumball see him floating?

He hoped not...he didnt want to have to explain that he was the son of a vampire demon and that the holes on his neck /were/ actually bite marks....

No, that would be too weird.

Marshall got up and walked over to the door, running a hand through his messy hair.

He pulled back the curtain on the little window on the door and saw Gumball standing there looking around at his surroundings.

Marshall opened the door and smiled. "Hey. I see you've found my place."

Gumball looked at him and smiled too. "Oh yes, I just followed the path. Though it was getting dark quickly so I went sorta fast. I'm sorry if I'm early. The...the moon isn't really out yet." he blushed.

Marshall laughed at that and gestured for him to come in. "I just meant the night time. And you got it right."

He turned on the light, showing the whole inside of the one room cabin.

Marshall's bed was to the left of the room and he had a TV to the right on the wall. He had a kitchen to the close right when you walked in and a table and chairs for eating on but that was it.

It was all pretty cozy actually. Very different from Gumball's humongous room.

Gumball walked in and sat himself down in the chair at the dining table. He put his books on the table then sat quietly and looked at Marshall with a small smile.

"What's wrong?" Marshall asked and sat down across from him.

Gumball blushed and turned to open his books. "Oh, I was just waiting....I didn't know when you wanted to start..."

After an hour of studying Chemistry, Marshall Lee seemed brain fried and Gumball decided to stop it there.

"Do you think you understand it now?"

Marshall shrugged and ran his hands through his hair. "Uh...yeah...sure..."

Before Gumball could reply Marshall stood up and went to the kitchen. "Why don't we eat something?"

Gumball instantly got excited about the thought of food and went over to him. "Oooh can I do it? Can I cook? Do you mind?"

Marshall laughed at his eagerness. "Sure thing. Just don't burn the house down."

"Yay!" Gumball pranced to the small fridge and rummaged through it to get his ingredients.

About fifteen minutes later, he turned around with his hands behind his back.

"Ready?" He asked Marshall who was sitting in the chair again, waiting.

"I have been fifteen minutes ago."

Gumball ignored that and put his hands in front of him.

He had a little pink cake on a plate in his hands with hot pink frosting and a strawberry on top. "Is it ok if dessert is first? I simply adore baking."

Marshall couldn't help himself but to laugh at everything this boy would do! He thought it was so cute. "I'd rather have cake then salad."

Gumball beamed and set the plate down and took a knife and cut it up into four small pieces.

He put a slice on a napkin and handed it to Marshall.

"Go on. Eat it!"

Marshall Lee looked at it but still didn't eat.

He didnt think this one through...

How was he supposed to eat in front of Gumball?!

Vampires suck the color out of something! They don't actually eat it!

He panicked as Gumball gestured him to eat it but then sighed and said. "Can I tell you a secret?"

"Yes of course! I promise I won't tell." Gumball replied with a kind smile.

Marshall took a deep breath. "Um....I'm sorta a....vampire..."

Oh god that was commercial, he thought right after he said it.
