A party? But...Gumball never went to parties!
He usually wasn't invited to them anyways.
Though it did sound somewhat fun. Plus, he could spend more time with his new friend.
"Uh....Ya know Marshall, that sounds like fun! I'd love to go with you! Just don't leave me... I haven't been to parties in a while."
Marshall grinned and went away from the door. "I won't make any promises- wait, you haven't been to parties? Parties are like my jam!" He laughed and took his guitar and played a few cords.
Gumball blushed and shook his head, setting down his books on the table again along with his new shirt. "I'm sorry. It's just...people don't really like me. So they don't invite me."
Marshall strummed his guitar hard and growled. "Just because you're a bit different doesn't mean people should be a**holes about it. You're cute Gumball. They /should/ like you."
"Thank you, Marshall. That means a lot." He said softly and sat down in a chair. "Do you mind playing me another song?"
Marshall Lee smiled at that. "Not at all baba."
After singing some songs and just plain getting to know each other better- and pranking of course- it was almost time to go to the party.
"What do you think I should wear?" Marshall asked with his hands on his hips.
Gumball wrinkled his eye brows."We have to change our clothes?"
"Well you want to look cool don't you?"
Gumball looked down at his pink outfit. "But I like what I'm wearing already."
Marshall rolled his eyes and changed into a loose black T-shirt and quickly switched into black ripped shinny jeans, along with red converse. "C'mon baba, why don't we go to your place and I can help you pick out something?"
"Do we have time?" He replied, standing and putting on his coat and pink scarf, then grabbing his books and black shirt.
Marshall nodded and floated to the door. "Where do you live?"
"Candikin lane."
"Oh that's right near Luna's house! Hell yes we have time! Now lets go!" Marshall grabbed Gumball's arm and pulled him outside and they walked fairly fast down the path until they reached Gumball's place.
"Whoa." Muttered Marshall, looking at the mansion. "You actually live here?!"
Gumball nodded proudly and walked inside with him.
"Holy sh*t man!" The vampire was in awe at everything and when Miss Peppermint maid walked in he asked, "now who's this?"
"That's my maid, Miss Peppermint." Gumball answered with a warm smile.
"Hello, nice to meet you." She said softly with her hands behind her back.
It was Gumball's time to pull Marshall along and he pulled him up to his humongous pink bedroom.
"Dude this is sick! I can't believe people still don't like you!" Marshall still gushed over.
Gumball rolled his eyes and opened his closet. "Ok, now you pick out my clothes for me. You're the one that knows what's cool and what's not."
"Got that right baba." He winked and rummaged through the clothes. "Lets see.... Pink, pink, pink....pink.... /Hot/ pink... Pink...purple-pink.... Don't you have anything that's not pink??"
Gumball blushed and looked down at his feet. "I'm sorry Marshall."
"Whateves." He murmured and pulled out a flowy pink t-shirt that was a bit shorter in the front and long in the back.
Gumball took it when he handed it to him but said, "I would need an undershirt with this."
Marshall shook his head and took out a pair of light pink pants that were rolled up to about under the knee at the leg bottoms. "No you don't baba."
Gumball also grabbed the pants but faltered. "It...it'll show my tummy."
"I didn't know showing skin was illegal your highness." He rolled his eyes.
"O-ok then..." Blushed Gumball and walked into the bathroom to change.
Marshall Lee continued to look through all of Gumball's things with a smirk on his face.
He hovered off the floor as he went through the drawers. One of them was Gumball's underwear drawer and Marshall snickered. "Naughty naughty Gumball..."
Then he went to the second one and it was nothing but books and other crap.
But then he saw something gold and shiny. "Ohhh what's this??"
Marshall picked it up and observed it.
It was a tiny little crown for playing dress up!
Baba isn't /that/ babyish is he?
Right then Gumball walked out of the bathroom in his new outfit, looking very fashionable but bashful in the face, with his hands covering his half revealed stomach.
Marshall twirled around when he heard the creek of the floor, putting the crown behind his back. He smiled wide at Gumball and floated closer.
"Look at you hot stuff!" He snickered, circling around him. "But....what's the point when you keep covering yourself??"
Marshall growled at Gumball's hands.
Gumball hesitated but dropped his hands down and blushed.
"Nice abs baba." Marshall said and ran a cold finger down them.
Gumball shivered then stepped back. "Uh...we should get going, yes?"
A grin spread across Marshall's face and he held out Gumball's crown and placed it on his head. "You're wearing that also!"
"What?!" He stammered. "What are you doing with that?! That is from a long time ago and should not be touched!"
"Pft. Oh please baba, lighten up! It complements you all together!
Hey, if you wear that, then I'll wear my fangs!" Marshall sprouted his tiny fangs.
Gumball huffed and went to the door. "Fine! I bet I don't even have a choice anyways!"
Marshall floated over and took Gumball's arm. "That's right, you don't." He flew out the open window from the attached balcony, holding onto Gumball as he screamed in shock and fear.
