There was a moment of silence as Gumball store at his new friend and tried to take it seriously. "You're kidding though....right?"
Marshall shook his head and suddenly he grew tiny fangs. He bent down and bit the cake, sucking out all of the color until it was mushy and gray.
Gumball's eyes widened and he paled drastically like the dead slice of cake.
He started to walk backwards, stumbling a bit. "M-Marshall.... D-don't hurt me...."
The vampire stood up and went over to Gumball with his speed ability. "No no, I won't hurt you.... I won't... I'm sorry, this is a lot. And it's your fist day....with me... And....I'm sorry."
Poor Gumball didn't know what to do and he was scared out of his wits. "It /is/ a lot... D-do you just tell y-your new friends to come o-over your house the f-first day and then d-drink their blood??"
Marshall rolled his eyes. "Well not everyone is perfect! But no, I do not do that! I'm not /that/ messed up! And I don't drink blood. I drink color."
"So?! That doesn't make a difference!" Gumball shouted.
That was unexpected... Gumball was surprised himself for using his voice like that.
Marshall growled in frustration. "Listen to me! I won't hurt you! If I wanted to I would have already! I even saved you from that dumba** today! I'm not going to hurt you."
Gumball thought for a second- he did have a point....
He sighed and relaxed his shoulders. "O-ok....I....I believe you Marshall Lee."
Marshall smiled and nodded. "Thank you. Just...don't tell anyone. Ok? It's still a secret."
Gumball stepped away from the door. "I won't tell anyone. You have my word."
"Oh and you should know I can fly." Marshall added and hovered and inch and a half from the floor. "It's something I can do..."
Gumball's eyes widened again and he gasped. "Whoa..."
He bent down and waved his hand between Marshall's feet and the floor with ease, to check if it was actually happening. And it was.
He stood back up again with a shocked face.
Marshall chuckled at his expression and went back to the ground. "Am I creeping you out too much?"
Gumball took a deep breath then shook his head.
If this boy was supposed to be his friend then he would have to accept who he is.
Marshall accepted who Gumball was so it is only fair that Gumball gives him the correct response.
"No....It's pretty cool actually." He said truthfully.
Marshall Lee smiled walked over to his bed and picked up his red electric guitar leaning on the wall. He strummed a few cords then sung out in the most beautifulest voice Gumball has ever heard. "Sorry that I'm not made of sugar. Am I not sweet enough for you? Is that why you always avoid me? I must be such an inconvenience to you!"
Gumball came closer and plopped down on Marshall's bed to watch him play without even asking for his permission to sit on his bed.
"Well, I'm just your problem..." Marshall sung, now floating off the ground again, "I'm just your problem... Its like, I'm not even a person am I? I'm just your problem....well I shouldn't have to justify what I do, and I shouldn't have to prove anything to you. I'm sorry that I exist; forget what landed me on the black list..."
