***Cameron's POV***
"Please just let me see her, only for a minute please!" I begged to the nurse.
"I'm sorry sir but you will have to wait to see your girlfriend because it's only family members right now" the nurse said in a monotone voice as she pressured my shoulders down so I would sit.
I sat down, obliging to her commands as I mumbled under my breath, "She isn't my girlfriend..." when the accident happened, I was on my free period looking for Izzy; I couldn't find her anywhere. I only found out about this from my science teacher.
***1 hour earlier***
"Ok class, so as you all know about the accident that happened in the maths corridor resulting badly; a young girl in our year got seriously hurt from fallen debris" I looked upwards towards the teacher, "She is in the hospital right now and she is getting taken care of. So let's take a minute of silence in her honour, and let's all hope she will get better"
Everyone went silent but when the minute was over I rushed over to the teacher and asked, "Miss please can you tell me who was hurt in the accident?"
"Cameron are you ok?" The teacher asked, not answering my question.
"Yes I'm ok, just tell me who got hurt" I slammed my hand down on her desk and she jumped.
"Cameron calm down please, this is not the way you treat a teacher!" She said as she huffed and folded her arms roughly over her chest.
She could tell I was getting annoyed now and she quickly regretted her decision to not answer my question.
"Ok ok! Is was this girl called.. Izzy Hale!" I smacked my hand to my mouth and ran out the classroom leaving all my belongings behind.
***Hannah's POV***
"Come on Izzy wake up, please.." I said while holding her hand and crying into the crease of my arm which was leaning on her hospital bed.
"Hannah it's not use, she's not going to wake up sweetie" My mum said in between sobs as she touched my shoulder.
I walked out her hospital room and I was met by a worried Shawn biting his nails nervously.
"Shawn you didn't have to come, I will be alright on my own.." I said, but secretly wishing she would stay and comfort me.
"Hannah I'm not leaving without you, and your obviously not ok to be alone right now" He said while pulling me into a tight hug as a tear left my eye and stained his top.
***Izzy's POV**
I was just opening my eyes when I realised I was in a hospital. I tried to move but I couldn't, I was stuck.
I could see Hannah kneeling down next to me with her hand wrapped round mine as she cried into her arm. I tried to talk to her but nothing came out mouth.
Mine and Hannah's mum came over to her and spoke but I couldn't hear a single thing she was saying.
"Mum!" I tried to shout out, "Hannah, what's happened why am I here?" But still nothing came out.
I struggled and struggled until my eyelids were like heavy rocks and I couldn't hold them open, I closed them for a second but when I opened them all I could see was black.
***Cameron's POV***
I have been into the hospital everyday for the past week and they will not let me in, I'm thinking of just busting into her hospital room.
I decided to ask the nurse one more time to see if they will let me in but guess what she said?
No.
So I made a plan to sneak into her room but first I need a key to get into it.
"Excuse me sir, do you know where to bathroom is?" I asked in the most polite way possible.
"Oh, just down the corridor and to the left" he smiled at me with the most fake smile I had ever seen.
"Thank you kindly sir" and before he walked off I 'tripped' over his foot and in the meantime I grabbed his key into all the hospital rooms.
"Oh my god, I'm such a cluts, sorry!" And I walked off like a boss.
I looked around nervously, looking in every direction possible incase a nurse or a doctor walk passed.
No one came so I unlocked the door and walked in.
I saw Izzy's body lying there and I rushed over to her. I saw an angry bruise running across her forehead, I bent down and stoked her cheek.
"Izzy, I don't know if you can hear this but, I hope you will get better.." I trailed off when I remembered that she was looking for me in my free period because I told her too, "I'm so sorry, this is all my fault. I didn't mean for you to get hurt, I... I... wanted to ask you something, but now it might be too late.."
I got up to leave but then I heard a faint voice call my name, I turned around to see Izzy propped up on her elbows. I rushed over to her and said, "you should've resting, lie back down" I held onto her head as she lay back down.
"Cameron" I leaned down to hear her properly, "what were you going to ask me?" She said in between coughs.
"I uh was going to ask you... uh.. if you would like to.. um be my.." before I could say anymore she kissed me and said,
"Yes"
