Chapter 6: Telling her off

I woke up, feeling lifeless. I had no energy and just wanted to disappear. I had nothing to look forward to anymore. I just felt empty.

I got up and started taking off the stained mascara off of my cheeks with a tissue. I looked horrible. I washed the makeup off of my face, took a shower, and just tried to pull myself together. Afterwards, I walked to some stores to buy clean clothes and food. I came back to the hotel and called Scarlett, explaining how I was going through a hard time. She spoke to the manager, Tony, and they gave me a few weeks to get better. After a week of hurting, eating ice cream, and reading 7 books a day, I decided to get my life back.

I gave the keys to the front desk man, it was a different guy from the one that gave me the room.

I didn't know what to do next. I could either call Spencer to come get me or just call a taxi. Where would I go anyways. I looked up at the tv screen in the lobby and saw pictures of Vanessa Hudgens outside of Josh's house.

"Star Vanessa Hudgens was spot outside of the Journey to the Mysterious Island costar's house. I smell new romance!" The woman from the tv exclaimed.

"What the hell!" I yelled loudly. The man at the front desk glanced at me from his newspaper. How could he just move on after just a week.

"Spencer. Sorry for yelling at you the other day. Come get me please." I spoke softly wanting to start crying again.

"Stupid high school musical bitch. Once I get my hands on her, I'm go-" I yelled louder than before.

"Miss please keep it down." The man at the desk yelled, interrupting my conversation with myself. I walked outside to wait for Spencer.

"I'm sorry. I honestly didn't know about you and Josh." Spencer spoke gently as I got into his car.

"It's okay. Don't worry about it. Why is Vanessa at the house?" I yelled.

"She went to go see Josh I guess. He didn't ask her to come over though, she just did." Spencer exclaimed as he started the car.

"I feel horrible Spencer. Josh broke up with me for something i didn't even want to do!" I yelled as I pushed my hair back with my hands.

"I think I know why Liam kissed you like that. He used to be head over heels for Vanessa but she was always into Josh. Maybe she asked him to do that to you. So-" I cut Spencer off.

"So Josh would break up with me and she would be there to comfort him. It all makes sense now! That's why Liam showed sudden interest in being friends, Vanessa must have seen us talking at the premiere and knew that I would want to be friends with him. She's damn clever." I yelled and punched the car door.

"Take me there now. I'm gonna put her in her place." I yelled with anger.

We arrived at Josh's house shorty, and I was nervous to see how Josh would react when he saw me. I paced out of the car slamming the door. I ran to the front door and knocked hardly. Vanessa opened the door.

"What are you doing here?" She rolled her eyes as she peeked her head through the door.

"No, what are YOU doing here?" I yelled angrily.

"I came to visit Joshy, uh duh." She spoke in a snobby voice.

"Move bitch." I pushed her hardly out of the way as I stomped inside.

"Josh. She set it all up. She hypnotized Liam and convinced him to do her a big favor which was to make it look like I was cheating on you which I would never do. The night that you took me to the movie premiere, she warned me that she would get back together with you and I didn't know that she was capable of doing all of this just to get you back. It sounds crazy but it's the truth!" I yelled with tears of anger in my eyes. Josh analyzed what I said before speaking.

"Is that true Vanessa?" He got up from the couch and crossed his arms.

"Of course not! Well maybe. Ugh she's lying just to take you away from me again! She's obviously jealous that you love me now." Vanessa yelled as she pointed at me.

"Woah woah woah, we're not even together. Your nothing more than a friend Vanessa." Josh stared angrily at Vanessa.

"Sorry to interrupt but um in Natalie's defense, Liam has had quite a crush on Vanessa for a few years." Spencer walked in and stood next to me.

"Go away, no one was talking to you!" Vanessa yelled coldly at Spencer.

"Hey don't talk to Spencer like that! What is your problem. No wonder Josh wants nothing to do with you. Your a horrible person, when I said I was your fan, you told me to fuck off. I may not be famous but I know for damn sure that's not how you talk to a person who looks up to you. Your just mean and and a total bitch so get out of my house." I yelled, telling Vanessa exactly how I felt about her, not caring what Josh or anyone else thought. Spencer and Josh just stared at me in shock, I had never been that mean to anyone in my life.

"Look Josh's EX. This is not your house okay. Josh isn't some charity. It's not my fault your homeless and that you have no pa-" Vanessa fought back.

"Stop! Thats enough. I think you should leave Vanessa." Josh exclaimed as he scratched his head as he walked her to the door.

"Fine go back to the hideous orphan, I could care less. Just watch you'll soon be begging for me and y-"

"Shut the hell up already!" I yelled as I pushed her out the doorway and locked the door.

Spencer walked to me and gave me a high five.

"Damn girl! I've never seen you so heated before. I feel so proud, you finally showed your not so innocent side." Spencer smiled and clapped.

"Haha thank you. For Josh, I would do anything." I looked at the floor realizing that Josh was no longer mine and my smile immediately faded. I struggled in trying to hold back the tears that were coming.

"I didn't know you had that in you sleeping beauty." Josh grinned. I immediately looked up and smiled with a few tears. "Come here." Josh opened his arms and I ran into them, hugging him tighter than ever.

"I missed you so much." He whispered into my ear and kissed my forehead.
