"Yes, mom. We're just going to be in my room. No, we're not hungry!" I hollered as my friend, Bailey and I entered my room.

She crossed her arms and glared at me. "I am hungry." She snapped causing me to laugh as I walked over to my closet looking for something more comfortable to wear.

I picked out some sweatpants, a plain black shirt, and headed to my bathroom but I quickly tossed my phone on the bed.

I leaned back on Kaylee's bed as I turned on Netflix and searched for a movie to watch. Hm, seen that, hated that, too emotional, too scary, too boring. Ugh, I just decided on Mean Girls and then I heard her phone singing off the hook.

Being the bossy person I am I picked her phone up, seeing snapchats from 'hayes 😏' and I raised my eyebrow, sliding to open them.

hayes 😏: i forgot ur probably in school oops

My eyes widened as I saw him. Holy wow, he's kinda cute. Does little Kaylee have a boyfriend she's not telling me about? I'm offended.

Making sure she wasn't coming, I quickly snapped a selfie and sent it to him.

'you right. i'm not, i'm her bestfriend and who the eff are you?'

"Who's Hayes?" I asked as she exited the bathroom and her face turned slightly red but she just shrugged her shoulders.

"He's just a friend." She responded, picking up her phone and I raised an eyebrow as I collapsed onto her bed. "He's kind of cute." I said making her go quiet as I clapped my hands in my head, she totally likes him.

"You snapchatted him?!" She whisper screamed and I cursed under my breath, that little boy saved the messages. I shrugged it off as I picked at my nail polish.

"Maybe.." I confessed with a low voice, making her hit me softly with her pillow.

I lightly hit Bailey with my pillow and then chucked it back onto my bed, shaking my head at her.

"You're unbelievable." I groaned, sitting down beside her and she laughed, shaking her head at me.

"You love me." She teased, making me roll my eyes as I typed a response to Hayes.
