I sat in my bed bored to death. It is currently 2 AM on a Saturday and I haven't done anything interesting except watch shameless and eat hot cheetos.
And strangely, I haven't talked to Hayes all day. Kind of miss the kid.
You know what, whatever, I'm messaging him. I opened snapchat and pulled up 'hayes the rat 🐭🎈', I had decided to change his name yesterday.
My fingers ran across the screen as I typed a simple greeting.

After I sent it I went on instagram for a few minutes. Then I got a snapchat notification so I went to the app and opened it.
