Look to God

It is tremendously helpful to learn that, for Christians, sufferings and troubled are never a permanent situation. We are led through the valley of the shadow of death; we do not have to stop in the middle and stay there. All your troubles will one day cease, and we will find eternal rest with our Lord.
Having salvation or being saved, God has delivered us from a great death. We are saved, and if we are saved, we have the means to deal with any trial that may come our way. Our faith in Jesus and our love for god will enable us to have hope in the darkest moments. With Jesus delivering us from our past, he is able to keep on delivering us as we go through life. All of this is based on our trust in Him.
God delivers in many ways. Peter was released from prison, and James was killed with a sword, but they were delivered. Peter went back to work for the lord, and James went to Heaven. In either case, God's will was done, and God's Word was not compromised.

We are not helpless when trials come our way! There are positive steps we can take in times of suffering. 1. Praise God for his blessings. Our blessings are always greater than our troubles! 2, we can pray. Prayer is a wonderful blessing! We can never over do it. In prayer we will find release from the chains of our own troubles. In prayer we realize that we are never alone.
God is working out His purposes in the trials and troubles of our lives. This does not mean that every trouble will automatically produce spiritual growth. Troubles can make us bitter and resentful, or they can make us stronger in the Lord. The difference is in how we handle them.
When we look to God, we are looking in the right place to find a way though whatever trials we may encounter as we live for Him.
