Another Hunt and a Sneeky Nico

  When everyone left Percy slipped his laptop from under his pillow. He decided he would find another case while he had time. Even though he just wanted to be alone and sleep but Percy knew that he wanted to keep himself busy. He had nothing to really keep himself in one place for long anyway. Percy was also mad he let his mask slip. Just for a second the real Percy slipped out and cursed at his friends. He tried to keep his friends from knowing his secret. He did this by making himself seem like a happy go lucky teen. Even after the wars...Even after the incident.
  
Percy knew about hunting when he was 5 years old. But his mom settled down and married that pig Gabe to protect him. that didn't mean Percy couldn't protect himself. He was always nervous about what Gabe might do to his mom. Even though he knew she was capable of protecting herself. He learned how to shoot a gun when he was 11. Look at him now. He was pretty much a killing machine. He could use various weapons. He always had holy water around him. Salt everywhere and he always had a gun with silver bullets in it. Then there was always his trusty bronze sword Riptide. He also had other things but those were just by him constantly.
   
Percy snapped the laptop shut. He would look later right now he just wanted to sleep. He put the laptop in the secret compartment in his bedside table and went to sleep almost instantly. His body giving out after being overexerted for far too long.
  
Nico quietly stepped out of the shadows. He opened the compartment and took out the laptop. He knew he shouldn't be looking at Percy's privet stuff but maybe he could find something out about why Percy was acting so differently.  He opened the laptop and looked confused. There were so many tabs open and all of them were different news sites and online paper. Nico though of a different question. How did Percy have WiFi? He looked through all of the tabs and seen nothing that would help him figure out what Percy was up to. Was he just looking at the news? Was he waiting for something?
  
Nico slipped the laptop back in the compartment and shadow traveled to his own cabin. He wouldn't tell anyone about what he has seen until he knows for sure what it means. He lay on his bed thinking about everything until he slipped into a deep sleep himself. The next morning he was awoken by a pounding on his door. He opened it up and seen the seven well except Percy. They all looked scared. "Nico, did you do something to Percy when we left?" Annabeth said as she shoved everyone into Nico's cabin. "No, why?" Nico said hoping they didn't notice his lie. "Well, Percy is really mad. He is talking about how someone went through his stuff," Piper said. How could Percy know so quickly that someone had touched his laptop? That is when Nico's eyes widened; he didn't put it on the same tab. Annabeth caught the look and said, "Nico what did you do?" Nico took a shaky breath and spilled, "Okay I was worried about Percy so I hid in the shadows and watched him. Then he took out a laptop and looked through it. I got curious and when he fell asleep I looked at what was on it. I didn't think it would be a big deal because it only had news sites on it." Right as he finished an even louder pounding was heard.

Nico inched to the door and opened it. There standing there was an angry Percy Jackson. Nico let out a little squeak then went to slam the door shut when the door stopped and Nico looked down to see a foot stopping the door. The door was then shoved open and Percy grabbed Nico by the shirt collar and dragged him to Percy's own cabin. The seven tired to follow but one glare from Percy and they all stopped even Annabeth.
 
Percy threw open his door and slammed it shut. He then threw Nico on a bed and started pacing. "What the hell Nico?" Percy yelled. Nico flinched taking Percy very seriously. "I'm sorry?" Nico more asked then said. "You are sorry? SORRY?!?!" Percy yelled. The ground started shaking and Nico looked to be on the edge of crying. Percy had never reacted like this before. Nico thought this felt familiar but reversed. That is when he remembered. This seemed a lot like when he was yelling at Percy about Bianca. But this was different it was only a laptop.
  
Percy took a big deep breath and the shaking stopped. "Look Nico I'm sorry for being mad but what is on that laptop is personal and I don't want to get you involved. If you got hurt I would never forgive myself," Percy said sounded defeated. All of the power that was coming off him in waves was gone. This made Nico upset he was not a small kid that needed to be saved. "I'm not a kid that needs saving anymore Percy," Nico said his voice slightly raised. Percy's head snapped up. He looked at Nico. Then started to pack. Nico watched as Percy put clothes and water and salt and then Nico gasped as Percy pulled a gun from under his pillow. Nico looked at Percy like he was insane. At this point, he could be.
