The Stalker and the Phone Call

Percy started to pack. Not thinking about Nico sitting on the bunk next to him. He grabbed various objects like holy water, clothes, salt, and his trusty gun. He pulled the gun out from under his pillow when he heard Nico gasp. Percy sighed, he has been doing that a lot lately. He put the gun in his bag and turned to the boy watching him. "I will answer some of your questions," Percy stated sitting down across from Nico.

"Where did you get a gun-wait why do you have a gun? Why are you being so secretive about a laptop with news tabs? Where are you going?" Nico broke like a dam. Percy chuckled a bit. "I have the gun for...protection. I don't want anyone touching my stuff, and, I am going on my next mission," Percy stated slowly, counting on his fingers. He was glancing at the wall in thought. "Mission? You mean you got another quest? And protection against what?" Nico continued to throw questions at Percy in quick succession. "Nico, this is not a quest and protection from the monsters," Percy calmly assessed the younger person in the room. He got back up and pulled the duffle bag with him. "Where are you going?" Nico jumped up blocking the cabin door. "I'm going many places, I'm going to be doing some traveling.......See you later Nico, and tell the others I'll be back later," Percy whispered slightly pushing past Nico. Nico stayed standing in the cabin for a minute after Percy left before dashing off to somewhere into the camp.

Percy walked out and over the hill. He stopped taking a deep breath and glancing at his second home. Not long after he continued his way to his mother's house before heading off on his hunt.

About an hour into his leisure walk to the city he heard a twig snap in the woods not too far away from him. He stuck his hand into his pocket gripping Riptide as he assumed this was of Greek origin. He continued walking but was on high alert. He heard the noise again and decided to address it, "I know you are there come out now." The small noises ceased after he called it out. "I am not in the mood for this so please let's just get this over with," Percy growled out uncaping Riptide.

"Wait!" a familiar voice shouted out as Nico suddenly emerged from the tree line. "What are you doing here?" Percy called out in exasperation. "I want to come with," Nico replied blushing a little. "No, I do not need a little stalker right now; go back to camp please," Percy groaned. "Well, I-" Nico was cut off by a ringing noise.

Percy pulled out the phone and didn't even glance at the number, "Hello?" Percy asked. "Hello? I am looking for Sally Jackson?" A male voice answered. "No this is her son," Percy replied. "Great, I need your mother's help," the voice responded. "My mother no longer hunts, I took her place, what do you need? And who is this?" Percy said calmly. "My name is........"
