"IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR LITTLE ASS DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW JADE YOUNG, I WILL PERSONALLY COME IN THERE AND..." Ethan screamed at me from the front door for the third time.
"ONE SECOND..." I continued hair spraying my hair with a mascara brush balanced in between my teeth, completely ignoring his call.
Suddenly my door burst open and an impatient looking Ethan stormed towards me, grabbed my hand and yanked me up from my seat. "Uhh... this and bags and umm..." Ethan muttered while picking up stuff from my room. He stared at me and cocked his head with confusion, "that eyes lashes are done and those aren't... yeah?"
I laughed and nodded at him, "so... you need lash painter... where's lash painter?" I freed myself from his tight grip and picked up my mascara brush, "it's called mascara babe." He frowned at me and rolled his eyes, "yeah yeah bring that otherwise you're freaking lopsided. Ethan took my hand in his and pulled me out of my bedroom. Despite my reluctant complaints, I was dragged out to his motorcycle, "Ethannn, I can't do my mascara on a motorcycle, without a mirror." He smirked, put his hands around my waist and lifted me onto the motorcycle, "I'll do it then!" He leaned his face closer to mine, screwed up his eyebrows in concentration and carefully combed my eyelashes with the mascara brush. I blinked at the appropriate times and he let out a chuckle, "get you little miss expert, almost like you've done this before eh?"
Once he'd finished 'painting my lashes,' Ethan gently tapped my nose with the mascara brush so a small drop of mascara landed on my nose.
"Let's go hit some shops hunny!"

Ethan let out a loud gasp and grabbed my shoulder, pointing at a group of people, "woah!! Look over there..." I glanced over my shoulder and then turned back around to face him, "Ethan, you do realise I'm aware that you're putting food in the trolley without me knowing, for the last time we don't need a birthday cake!!"
He pouted at me and moaned, "but it looks sooooo good!"
"And says 'Happy Birthday Mum' on it now put it back and look for beans," I replied and thrusted the pink cake back into his hands.
We continued up and down the aisles for another half hour until we reached the alcohol aisles. "Look, if you want that much alcohol," I stated, "you're gonna have to pay for it yourself!!" He let out a sigh and suddenly took a great interest in his blue converses. "Ethan... Ethan??" I called, searching for a response. "I... I can't," he spoke quietly, "I always get IDed here and I haven't got my ID with me." I smirked, waiting for him to tell me he was joking, he looked at me coyly. Laughter erupted out of my mouth, "are you serious!?" He turned up his nose and rolled his eyes in an unattractive manner, "just shut up and take the booze" he grumbled.

After reluctantly paying for all of the shopping and carrying it slowly across the large car park, we came to the awkward realisation that there was no way the shopping would fit on the motorbike.
He let out a chuckle, "babes... it looks like I'm gonna have to leave you here and grab my dads car." I slapped his hovering hand and held onto it tight, "don't you dare!!"
He smirked at me and chucked, "unless you're suggesting you drive my motorbike home, we legit have no other option." Refusing to let his pride go undamaged I suggested, "I could just call Terry and get him to pick me and the shopping up... I do have his number after all." Ethan rolled his eyes and muttered, "do what you want Jade," and with that he sped off on his motorbike. "ETHAN I WAS..." I shouted after his shrinking figure as he disappeared around the corner, "joking" I sighed.
I found Terry's contact and dialled his number, after a couple of rings, he picked up. "Uh hello... who is this?" Remembering that he didn't have my number I quickly spoke, "oh Jade... Ethan's roommate Jade," he let out a deep chuckle and replied, "well hello roommate Jade what can I do to help you?" I sighed, "I'm stuck at the shopping centre with a load of shopping and no ride, any chance you can help me out?" I heard him pull the phone away from his ear and mutter away to someone, followed by a grunt, "sorry honey I'm at a mates house on the other side of town, but... you know what I'll give you Lewis's number... Ethan's brothers, he lives on campus and should be free!"
Ethan has a brother!??
So after Terry had sent me the number, I reluctantly called it. A deep, gravelly voice answered, "Hello?" I took in a deep breath, "Hi, I'm Jade basically I'm stuck at the shopping centre and... well I'm roommates with your brother and he's pissed off with me and I phoned Terry and..." he interrupted me replying in a soft laugh, "course babes I drive a black Porsche I'll be there in five." And with that, he hung up.
As promised, within five minutes a large, shiny Porsche pulled up in front of my and beeped its horn. A tall, muscular, man stepped out of the car and plodded towards me. "Jade?" he said in a husky voice, "you the girl with the shopping?"
He shared similar features with his brother, the dazzling blue eyes, the deeply tanned skin, the muscular build however, he was probably a couple years older. Unlike Ethan, he had messy blonde hair with a small amount of stubble, definitely something very attractive about the 'I just got out of bed' look.
"Hello??"
Shit.
I was staring.
"Yes, sorry, hi, I'm Jade, thank you, um sorry..." I stuttered, he let out a deep chuckle and threw me a wink and helped me load the shopping into the boot.
Lewis held the car door open for me and carefully shut it behind me. After climbing in and starting the engine, he turned towards me and smiled, "I'm Lewis, I'm sorry about Ethan, he's an actual dickhead... to me and you both. We don't exactly get on, I could drop you round the corner to cause as little amount of drama as possible?" I gave him an appreciative nod but furrowed my eyebrows, "thanks but I'm in the mood for stirring shit up a bit, he did leave me abandoned after all!!" After a hearty laugh, Lewis quickly turned serious, "it could get messy Jade... you prepared to be in the middle of that?" I nodded and clicked my tongue, "let's do it."

He pulled the car onto our drive, switched the engine off and turned to me once again, "I haven't seen him for 3 years Jade, you ready?"
"We got a plan? What will piss him off most?"
He smirked, "I like you and your attitude, I mean his soft spot is me with his girls... but" he bit his lip and gave me a questioning look.
I smirked, this will get interesting.

I opened the front door quietly and snuck Lewis and our shopping in. We dumped the bags on the kitchen counter with no Ethan in sight, and crept into the lounge.
"Okay, umm now what..." Lewis muttered, suddenly embarrassed. I knocked off a pot grapes from the counter so Ethan would be aware I was back, grabbed his hand and then ran into the lounge with Lewis. As we swung the door open, we were greeted with Ethan, sitting on the sofa playing on his Xbox. "You'll need to clear those grapes up Jade," he grunted without looking up. I tightened my grip on Lewis's hand and gave him a 'what now' look.
There was an awkward moment of silence.
Ethan continued gaming.
We stood still.
He sighed, took his gaming headset off and looked up at me, "Jade I'm sorr..." he sat there with his mouth agape.
