~Chapter Two~
Brooke's POV
We arrive at first period. The girls go in their locker room and guys in theirs. Once we change we all go outside for open gym. Kaitlin and I decide to just bump around the volleyball. "Please tell Hunter." She says. "No." I say and bump the ball. "Please." She says while hitting the ball. "No Kaitlin." I say and set the ball. "Why not?" She asks and hits the ball back. "Because I'm scared." I say and let the ball fall to the ground. "Come on you'll be fine." She says. "I just really like him and i don't want to ruin our friendship." I say. "Just tell him." She says. "What am I supposed to say? Hey, Hunter how's it going? Oh that's good. Okay well um I'm in love with you. K bye." I say. "Wait you're in love with him?!?" She asks. "Yeah... He makes me so happy. Hun-." I start to say, but Hunter and Blake come walking over to us. "Hiii." Hunter says. "Hey." I say just standing there. "Are you okay?" He asks. "Yeah." I say. "Just tired." I say. "Oh okay." He says.
Hunter's POV
We get to first period. We all get dressed for gym and then go outside. I can't find Brooke, so Blake and I walk around. "Sooo when are you gonna tell her?" Blake asks. "Tell who what?" I ask playing dumb. "Tell Brooke that you like her." Blake says. "Not anytime soon." I say. "Why?" He asks. "Because she likes someone." I say looking at the ground. "What makes you think that?" He asks. "She told me. She said that there's this boy that she really likes but she doesn't think he likes her back. He makes her really happy and he's always there for her." I say. "Bro. You're so stupid." He says and stops me. "You are the guy." He says. "What?" I ask. "She said he's always there for her. You're always there for her. When you surprised her this morning she cried because she was so happy to see you." He says. I just smile. "So when are you going to tell her?" He asks. "I don't know." I say. "Come on Hunter. " he says. "I'm scared Blake." I say. "Just tell her. You'll be fine." He says. "What am I supposed to do? Walk up to her and be like 'Hey Brooke. Guess what? I'm in love with you." I say. "IN LOVE?!?" Blake yells. "Shhhhh." I say. "But yes. In love." I say. "Aw Hunter." He says. We begin walking over to Brooke and Kaitlin. "Hiii." I say. "Hey." Brooke says. She looks like she's nervous. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Yeah." She says. "Just tired." She says again. "Oh okay." I say and give her a side hug. Blake and Kaitlin look at me and smirk. "So what's everyone doing after school?" I ask. "I'm still grounded so staying at home." Kaitlin says. "I have to help my mom with something I think." Blake says. "Watching The Vampire Diaries." Brooke says. "Of course you are." Kaitlin says. "Haven't you already watched all the episodes like 5 times?" Blake asks. "No... I've watched each episode 8 times... this year." Brooke says and laughs. Man I love her laugh. "Not surprise actually." Blake says. "After all it is my favorite show soooo." She says. "What are you doing after school Hunter?" Blake asks. "Nothing." I say. "You can come over to my house if you want." Brooke says. "Ooooo." Kaitlin says. "Okay I will." I say. Today's gonna be a good day. I think to myself. "Get some." Blake says. "Shut up." Brooke says and throws the volleyball at him. We all laugh. "Ouch." Blake says. "Baby." Brooke says. "I'm not a baby." He says. "We all know you are." I say. We all laugh including Blake.
