A Harleywing Story: Broken Souls

"I can't believe it" dick yells as he stands in front of his mentor/father figure and thought to be love of his life.

"Dick let her explain" bruce pleads
"NO !!"  Dick points his finger at Barbara "I loved you... I trusted you !!"

"Dick p...p...please" Barbara says between sobs. Dick turns his back to bruce and Barbara and tries and fails to contain his rage.

He goes away to help the titans for 2 months to come back to find out the 'love of his life' and 'father figure' slept together. It was only one time they said, he wanted to believe them he really did, but he couldn't forgive this.

Dick knew this was along time coming but finally he thought it would be like this. "This is over bruce... me and you.... batman and robin.... games over bruce I quit.

"Dick wai-" dick punches bruce and knocks him to the ground. As dick stands over bruce he rips off his robin mask and throws it on the ground and does the same to his cape.

Before bruce or Barbara could say anything else dick grapples away from the roof.

Once dick reaches his apartment he drops to his knees and let's out a frustrated yell while tears run down his face.

He packed his clothes and other essential items by the door. He need to move away from bruce and Barbara and anyone else. He needed to leave gotham.

After sitting on the couch with a beer in hand for over an hour he finally succumbed to sleep. When he woke up he felt like shit and the pain of betrayal was still fresh.

He went down to the GCPD (Gotham City Police Department) to asked to be transferred to bludhaven. He knew it would be accepted because that city always needed more police.

Dick on top of being the side kick to batman also trained and became a cop. He signed for special ops only to keep police and robin work balanced, it was hard but he made it work.
He asked for a leave when he needed to go help the teen titans deal with a threat.

When dick got back to his apartment it was noon. The transfer to bludhaven was approved and he started next week.

A buddy from the police academy also lived and worked in bludhaven so dick was going to live with him.

Dick was ready to leave later that night but before he left he made one call to some one that he was going to miss.

"Hello wayne manor"

"Hey alfred"

"Master dick hello do you need me to get bruce for you?"

"No AL I called to talk to you.... I sure know you what happened last night...and I wanted you to know I'm leaving gotham and moving to bludhaven and I'm dedicating my full attention to police work."

"Master dick I...if your sure you know what your doing."

"I do."

"Well Goodluck to you then."

"bye alfred.... and thanks for everything you've done for me.... really."

"GoodBye dick it has been a pleasure.... don't be a stranger."

And with that dick hangs up the phone grabs his bags and heads to the train station.

"Bludhaven here I come."
