Alone

I know I shouldn't say this after 18 years with you.

But what kind of mother gives away a kid walking in her shoes?

Ice grown up to be about like you, that's what every one says?

So, why did you run away and leave me for dead?

I know that I still have dad, but where are you now?

Let me show you the tears ice cried, allow me to show my frown.

Did you know I've sliced my thighs to take away the hurt?

Did you know I knew you'd walk away and leave my heart in the dirt?

You never even tried to help raising your own.

You left me here, broke your unworthy throne.

Don't mention all the times that you claimed you would never leave again.

I honestly hope you're happy because I may not be by then.

By the time you read this, I'll be dead and gone.

By the time you get this, I'll be laying under my broken stone.
