Tae and his fellow BTS members were all sitting in a restaurant, enjoying a nice day off from tour. They were currently in Baltimore, Maryland, scheduled to play a show that night in the nearby Amphitheatre. They spent the day shopping, having fun with their American guides.
It had been 3 years since Maggie had passed, and the boys had managed to patch themselves back together. Tae rarely thought of her anymore after the day the article claiming her death suddenly became blocked in South Korea. It took another 6 months and enough tears to last a lifetime for Tae to be considered okay. Sure, he had his bad days where he would open the old group chat and read the messages and cry, knowing that she didn't deserve to die.
It wasn't until later in the day, when they were passing by a graveyard, did they remember their old friend. As they passed the 4th row, all their phones beeped in unison, making them all stop in their tracks. There was only thing that could possibly mean. But nobody had their phones out.
Tae took his phone out his pocket, unlocking it and opening his texting app. A group chat with a time stamp of 2013 was at the top. With a shaking finger, he tapped it open, then proceeded to nearly drop his phone as he read what it said.
