"Welcome, I guess you are the challenger. What is your name?" Lorelei asked.

"Thanks. My name is Aurora. I wish to challenge you. And hopefully beat you."

"Good luck with that. I hope we have a good battle. May the best win."

I smiled. "Lapras lend me your strength."

"I guess she is your partner. Your first pokemon. Right?" I said grinning from ear to ear. "Well you will lose."

"Bolt! Its time." I threw my master ball into the air. Bolt(Zapdos) flew out and did flips in the air silently acknowledging me.

"Wow! A Zapdos. You must be an excellent trainer to have gained its trust."

"Thank you. We will not go down without a fight." I said.

She laughed." Don't worry, that your Zapdos confirmed.

"Lapras, lets not wait anymore. Use blizzard."

"Bolt, use ancient power and make yourself a shield. When the blizzard subsides use bolt strike."

Lapras looked upwards and her horn glowed. A blizzard erupted out of nowhere and flew towards bolt in full speed. Bolt had in time created the shield and took minimum damage.
As soon as the attack was done the rocks began to drop but bolt threw them towards Lapras again using ancient power.

"No. Lapras protect immediately." Lorelei said looking concerned and totally not noticing bolt prepare a bolt strike. Bolt strike was a very powerful move. It dealt 130 damage when used by a normal pokemon but bolt was legendary. The attack was twice as powerful.

Bolt followed the rocks. As soon as the rocks hit the protect vanished. I saw Lorelei's aura relax for a second. It instantly changed to a shade of orange showing concern and fear.

Lapras let out a shrill when bolt's attack hit. I knew it was left with really less HP.

Lorelei looked concerned. "Lapras time to end this. Use hydro cannon. The attack happened fast.

It hit before I could complete my sentence. The attack pushed bolt of the air and into the wall leaving a huge dent. I could bolt weakening.

I took advantage of the moment. "Bolt use volt tackle. Lapras gas to recharge."

Bolt nodded hurtling towards Lapras crackling with electricity. Lorelei sighed in defeat. She knew she would lose. The attack hit and Lapras fainted. Bolt did a victory flip. Let lose a thunder bolt before I recalled her.

Lorelei came towards me. "You did great. I never knew I would so I this but you've earned this. I wouldn't be surprised if the others accepted it but here . This is for you. "She handed me two eggs. They were both white coloured with red and green specks. They were both in incubators.

"Before you ask. They are gifts. Rare pokemon bred with unique attacks and a very special power."

"Power? What power?" I asked

"Oh, you will find out in time don't worry. Go on now move."

I headed towards the next room. I walked through the corridor and healed bolt.

"Welcome child. You have arrived" I looked at Bruno shocked. He was in a field that looked like a rocky terrain.

"Lets dance." I said taking Ruby's poke ball.

"Somebody is in a hurry." He said smirking.

"Onyx time ta shine" he said.

"Ruby, hope you are ready."
