Maddie,

Wow. This year is just flying by. I wish it would slow down. I want as much time in life with you as I can get. Life is pretty short, and I only want to spend it with you.

I love the moments when we just lie under the stars and talk about everything. Life, work, our love for each other. I know that I can always tell you anything, and you'll never judge me. You'll always love me, even when my bad side peeks out.

I'll love you the same. The difference is, you'll always be so perfect in my eyes. Nothing you ever do will make me think different. You're everything to me.

I cry as I write this letter, because I realize that I have finally found a reason to drag my lazy butt out of bed every morning. It is to protect you, and to love you. To cherish you and to call you mine.

I cannot wait to one day to be the father of our child. That baby will be perfect, and beautiful. I wish I could give that baby everything, like you can. You'll be such an amazing mother. I won't be as great of a father as you will a mother, but I'll try.
