  (Bree's POV)

"What do you mean that it's time" I asked.

"It's time to start the Parabatai Friendship/Combine Rune Ritual" Clary said.

"So are we supposed to do an oath" I asked.

"Yes" Clary said.

"Entreat me not to leave thee,
Or return from following after thee—for whither thou goest, I will go,
And where thou lodgest, I will lodge.
Thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God.
Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried.
The Angel do so to me, and more also, if aught but death part thee and me" Clary said as she drew the rune on me.

When we finished, a shadow had jumped right through the window. I turned my head the other way as everyone else did.

"Well look what we have her" Kristie said.

"Kristie, you know Diego will never be with you so why do you even try" I said.

"Well to let you know, I killed Sarah for being the snitch she is" Kristie said.

And just like that Kristie attacked me but I was lucky that Clary was near me and had kicked Kristie right in her stomach.

So I stayed back and watched how she got up and then tried to stab Clary with a blade. It seem liked it hit her in her heart but instead it was in her ribs.

Something inside me started to really heat me up. I felt my fangs going back inside as my skin became warmer. I felt something start poking out my back, I knew it was my wings so I let them be out.

Everything felt way more better an Angel than a Vampire. Opening my eyes I smiled crookily at Kristie.
