Chapter Two

(Clary's POV)

I knew something was up tonight so I went out today alone.

There were two vampires at the club but they were newborn.

I sat at a table waiting for them to come over here. When they did I had a smile on my face.

"Hi I'm Clary" I said as I had my hand out.

"I'm Bree and over there is Diego" she said.

I could already tell they were a couple as Diego was standing very close by Bree.

"I know what you are" I said.

"Yeah and what are we, human" he said.

"Your vampires and secondly I'm not fully human" I said.

"If you're not then what are you" she asked.

"I'm a Shadowhunter" I said.

"A what?" she asked.

"A Nephilim or Children of the Nephilim" I said.

"What do you do" she asked.

"We're Shadowhunters and Shadowhunters are born with angelic blood. We are a demon-hunter race" I said.

"Then why haven't you hunted us" she asked.

"Because you two seem different, especially you" I said pointing at the girl.

"How am I different" she asked.

"I don't know but maybe Jace can tell you" I said.

Me and Jace has been dating for almost 7 years. I wonder whenever will he propose to me. When me and him figured out the truth that we weren't brother and sister we was so happy that we did it.

"Who's Jace" he asked.

"My boyfriend" I said.

"How can he tell us how different we are" he asked.

"We'll see, so follow me" I said.

When they followed me out. I lead them to the institution.
