Time To Show The World

      As I lied on the bed beside Shawn, I couldn't seem to take my eyes off of the little diamond ring on my finger.

   It was absolutely impossible for me to go to sleep and it was practically morning, after a few minutes Shawn began to stir beside me.

   He rolled over to face me and he slowly opened his chocolate hazel eyes, he smiled once he noticed me staring.

    "Morning my love."

He whispered, I giggled and leaned in to peck his cheek.

  "Morning handsome."

  I whispered back, I sighed and rolled over to face away from him, he took that as a cue to wrap his arms around me from behind.

He kissed my neck which caused me to giggle even harder.

    "Perfect."

  He told me, I sighed and realized that we had school in an hour.

   I pulled away from him and sat up on the bed, I could feel him sit up behind me, his chest was on my back.

   "Where ya going?"

  He asked in a disappointed tone, I smiled over my shoulder at him and stood from the bed.

   "I hate to break it to you, but we have school."

  I told him, he smiled up at me and the next thing I knew he had pulled me back down and somehow I ended up underneath him.

    "Stop!!! Please stop!!!"

  I giggled out as he tickled at my armpits, he laughed along with me as he continued to tickle me.

   "Shawn come on we need to go soon!"

   I squealed out, he finally froze and kissed my lips gently for a long moment.

   I turned my head to the side to dodge another slobbery kiss, he grunted in frustration as his lips landed on my cheek.

   "Hey!"

  He complained, I giggled and rolled out from underneath him and onto the floor.

  I quickly stood and ran for the bathroom, and I could hear his footsteps following behind me.

   I quickly entered the bathroom and locked the door behind me just in time.

   "Oh come on!!!"

  He called desperately through the door, I smiled and my cheeks began to turn warm.

  "I'm getting in the shower!"

  I called back, I started the water and continued laughing as Shawn banged on the bathroom door.

    "Come on my fiancée!"

  He called through the door, it then hit me that I was engaged to Shawn, I was actually going to be marrying him, he would be my husband.

I'd be his wife.

    "Not until we're married!"

  I called back with a laugh, Shawn gave up and I heard him collapse onto the couch.

  I'd be marrying the love of my life, but when would the day come, that was a conversation for another day.

    The focus of the day.

  I was going to show the world that I was engaged to Shawn Peter Raul Mendes.
