Just Ask Her Out

  Cameron

  "Oh sorry bro."

  I said after I had ran head on into a guy in the cafeteria, he gave me a death glare and continued walking past me, which totally took me off guard.

   "What was that about?"

One of my good friends Aaron Carpenter then asked from my side.

  I shrugged and continued into the cafeteria, that's when my eyes landed on Adara.

   I froze and watched her across the lunchroom, her blonde hair perfectly straight and a smile on her beautiful face.

   "Hello? Are you in there Cam?"

  I heard Aaron ask, he stood in front of me and waved his hand inches from my face trying to get my attention.

   "Ya sorry."

  I stated quietly with my eyes still on Adara.

  "Dude, just ask her out."

  Nash told me, he took me off guard as he suddenly was beside me.

   "Someday."

  I told them both, they both gave me a "you're a chicken" look and headed off to get some food.

   I didn't really feel like eating, so I headed over to the groups table where Scarlett, Shawn, Adara and Matt were sitting in laughter.

  Nobody was sitting on Adara's right so I took the empty chair beside her, and she smiled over at me.

   "And how has your day been gorgeous?"

  I asked her, her cheeks turned bright red and I smiled.

  "Great! How about yours Cameron?"

  She asked perkily, I grinned and watched as she took a bite of her sandwich.

   "Great, call me Cam."

I told her with my best smile, flashing my pearly whites in her direction.

   "Okay Cam."

  She said shyly, I loved the way she smiled, it made my day that much brighter.

   What was going on, my mind was in total nothingness, all my attention on her, I had never felt that way about anyone.

    I realized I had been staring at her for too long, and with my luck she most likely noticed.

   "Cam, you alright?"

  Shawn asked out of nowhere across the table, I met his eyes and smiled.

   "Ya, great."

  I told him with a thumbs up, he glanced between Adara and I, his eyebrows raised, I quickly shook my head hoping nobody would notice, but of course Scarlett did.

    I looked back over at Adara and knew that I had to get to know her, she was so different from the rest of the girls I had dated, different in a good way.

  I had my eyes on the prize.

Awe❤ Will Cameron put aside his bad boy personality for his said "Dream Girl" or will things grow sour between the two?
