I woke up and it wasn't a dream, thank god. But you couldn't really say school was the most fun. I got bombarded with questions, and a bunch of glares from the sluts of the school, considering Ty Grady was asking me about Ben, him being a huge fan. Not that I really wanted anything to do with him anyway, but I guess he was nice. I was the slightest bit popular among my peers, but it felt like everyone hated me for all the attention I was getting. Mostly the girls.

Great.

"Only a week and a half more," I thought as I walked down the hallway after school had ended. I had to take 3 days off of school for some acting thing. A deal I made to convince Molly I'd be perfect and on-point. I waited with all the other kids and I got on the bus, finding my usual seat, pretending to be concentrating heavily on my book to avoid answering any more questions.

The next couple of days were still pretty hectic, but after that the situation died down. Ty was still on my case however, I had no idea he was this big of a fan. This one girl who was particularly bitchy, kept saying I was stealing her boyfriend, when I'm pretty sure she was dating this jock named Josh. Who knows, she moves on pretty fast. She chose to make my life a living hell for those next six days before I left. She tripped me and tried to embarrass me in public. And even went so far as to call Ben a prick, which resulted in Ty breaking up with her (I guess they were dating) and me landing in detention for the first time that year after I called her a filthy hoe. It wasn't bad enough to get a call home though, which saved me from a lot of trouble I really didn't want to deal with. And anyway, Ty was at least a year older than me.

I think it's safe to say he liked Ben more than her.

I spent the next few days after school packing, and it was hard. Luckily there would be wardrobe and makeup on the shoot, but I still had to bring a heck of a lot of clothes and other stuff. I filled at least 4 suitcases with everything from headphones to basketball shoes, I still had to keep my end of the deal with Coach Miller and practice. I'm one of the only two sophomores on varsity and I need to stay there. So all my basketball stuff had to go in too. You could say I'm not exactly a light packer. I could house a village with all my stuff.

The three days of acting were at this clinic that looked more like someone threw up paint everywhere than a professional acting studio. I guess they were going for a creative vibe. We did a bunch of boring drills, and a lot of evaluations. I was told to be a natural, which definitely made me more confident about the upcoming filming. I hope filming on set is more fun than this.

At last it came time for me to go, and I'll admit, it was harder than I thought. I failed to mention I had a 1 year old brother named Finn, who didn't understand anything more than food, sleep, and playtime, so I don't think he'll miss me terribly, but I'm sure gonna miss him. I said goodbye to my parents after getting told a long lecture about staying safe and whatnot. At the door I gave my mom, dad, and Finn tight hugs and managed to make my mother shed a few tears.

"You'll still see me, I'll call and I can visit in about two weeks," I consoled her. She nodded gratefully, I guess it was my time to go. I dragged my 4 suitcases with the help of the bus driver. It was a huge bus, I swear it was like the size of my house.

"Well kid you ready?" The bus drivers asked.

"Umm yeah, I guess I am..."
