Niall looked around for Harry, but he had already left.

Liam saw him and said, "Looking for someone?" Liam lifted his lips in a half smile.

Niall shook his head. He noticed Harry had left behind his notebook.

"Is that yours?"

Niall considered for a moment. If he said yes, he could take it to Harry. But if he said no, he could never see what was inside, and somebody else might find it.

"Yeah, it's mine," Niall blurted quickly. He didn't know why, but he didn't want anybody to see what was inside.

Liam gave Niall a weird look that told him, Okaaaay. "So, history?"

Niall ran his hand through his hair. "Yeah, sure, whatever."

Liam grabbed his stuff, and Niall did, too, and they both walked off.

"Hey, you know that new dude? Next to you?"

Niall tensed. "Yeah, Harry, what about him?"

"I heard he's gay. He's freaky." Liam was now laughing.

Niall narrowed his eyes. "You think that people have to be like you or they're freaks?!"

By now Liam's smile had faded. "Jesus Christ! Louis told me that Harry was gay. He's gonna invite him to the party on Saturday as a joke."

Niall rolled his eyes. "Louis' a cunt."

Liam smirked. "What's up with you and Harry anyway? Do you have a thing for him?"

Niall's voice wavered. "N-no."

Liam smiled. "I'm teasing. You don't, right?"

Niall relaxed his voice a bit. "Nah," he said, but it pained him to hear that about Harry.
