Tale of Panthera Regina; Part 2

Chapter 10; Leona's Gems and Gifts (Adamas)

Leona had taken us to the Island of Pardus, so we can talk in peace (that's what Leona said "peace" but I think she meant private).

Other than Pola and Aurora, everyone else stayed on Panthera Regina. Rex had left Crescent in charge.

The bridge is called the GateKeeper because it is the only way to reach Pardus and only she (Leona) controls of who goes on her Island.

The gate was made with the elements, plus the gems and stones, so the bridge is very colorful. We had entered to a circle of stones that is located in the middle of the Island. The stones contain gems of all color, size and shape.

"Aunt Leona, what is all of this?" I asked, and turned my head to Crystallo who shook her head no and Carbunculus did the same.

"It's called the Hall of Gems." Her yellow eyes stared into mine. "This is where the gifts for the Royal's, the Court, Protectors and lucky few are made and given their power." She explained with a purr.

Regina ears perked up and said. "You mean this circle of stones is the Hall of Gems? Is this where we get all are Gems?"

Everyone looked at the tan fur and brown rosettes of Leona, to try to find her Gift. Which you can only see a faint glow around Leona's neck.

"I see you have made Warriors on the way, to me." Leona look to Rex."You have to shapeshift soon or it will come out in force."

Rex was in shock then he stared at the shiny ground. "Navy never told me." He started to whimper.

"Mother had told us that he passed and that's why Rex will be the next rex since Navy can't tell us who is the true heir." I told Leona, so Rex didn't have to.

Regina seemed to be in a trance by the Gems.

Leona stared at us. "He's alive and he had always kept an eye on his family." Leona confess.

Rex took his gaze from the ground to Leona. His eye was filled with anger. "How do you know?!" He yelled at Leona. "He never shown his face again after Viola and Leo was born!"

"He watched in a Red-Tailed Hawk form, you may know him as Rufus."

Everyone gasped, even Rex, who finally sat down to listen to Leona's Tale.

"You and your siblings each have a unique gift because of Roseis having the DNA and Navy being a Shifter. Remember a Dragon has the Shifter blood, Rex does not." Leona paused as she looked to each of us. Leona's tail twitch and 11 different color gems hovered over her head.

"Wow! Cool!" Pilosus said, as Velox and Pola just stared in wonder.

The Triplets copied Velox and Pola expression.

The gems came to each of us.

Leona turned to Rex. "The Gift of Guardian."

"Why?" Rex asked.

"It's the first gem help by Protector, the Veterum Protector." Leona turned her head to Regina. Rex stared at the gem.

"Regina, the Gem of Royal or known as the Understanding." Leona paused. "This will allow you to see through the eyes of other Heirs and see uncertain events."

"Thank you, so when I roared?" Regina asked.

Leona raised her head up and said. "Yes, you did called me."

The Leopard made her way to me.

"Adamas, Crystallo and Carbunculus, you will be forever known as the next InsignisKeepers." Leona just looked at me. "Adamas, you're given the Gift of the WeatherChanger. With this you can influence the weather." She turned her head to Crystallo.

Crystallo bowed, which made Leona smile.

"You will be given the Misdirection and with this you can deceive others."

The blue gem had black stripes. Rex was blue and black as well.

Leona turned to Carbunculus, but Carbunculus lowered herself to the ground by of which tigger me and Crystallo to surround her.

Leona merely smiled and replied with. "No need for protection, young regia puella." Leona paused. " I can see that the two see you as regina."

Everyone stared at us. Regina was still purring about her gem.
