Chapter 8

Liam s p.o.v:

“Perrie and I broke up”  Zayn says.

“What!!??”  the boys and I say in harmony. I can’t believe it. How could they break up? They loved each other. I always thought that they would marry and now this. How is this even possible? They were made for each other, like Danielle and I, that was what I thought. But it was the best between Danielle and I. She has another boy now and they are happy and I am happy for that, because I know she will be happy with him. I wasn’t good enough for her. But Perrie and Zayn? This can’t be happening right? They never had a fight or anything. I don’t understand how this could happen.

“Why did you guys break up and who wanted to?” Louis asks.

“She did, because I was too busy with the band and didn't have much time for her” Zayn says and continues “I did everything for her. I even wanted to ask her to marry me. I don t get it. Was I really busy with the band? I wasn’t right?”

“Not really with the band, but we aren’t in England much either" Louis says. He is right. We don’t even have time to see our family because of the touring.

“Maybe you guys weren’t meant to be” I say “Like Danielle and I, maybe there is someone better waiting for us and this is for the best” I tell him and mean every word. I have no idea where this came from, but sometimes I really think that Danielle and I were not meant to be and that was the reason we broke up. “It will hurt a lot, believe me, but we are here for you. You will get used to it and hopefully you will find the one. Give it time and everything will be alright.”

“I don’t know mate. I really love her. I don’t think I can live without her” Zayn tells me.

“That is what I thought first and then I heard she had another boyfriend. It was killing me inside. She was with someone else while I was still in love with her. Do you know how it feels to have your heart ripped out and stepped on, to see the girl you love with someone else? But look at me now. I can smile again and I’m happy for her that she found someone and I’m sure that someone is waiting for me too. I just need to be patient and you too. Things will get better” I tell him.

He is thinking about the things I told him. “I hope so” he tells me. “I just want to sleep right now and not think about this. Could someone bring me to my apartment?” he asks.

“I can” Harry says “And I’m going back to my apartment too.”

“Yeah we are going too” Niall and Louis say.

“Okay, goodnight boys” I say.

“Bye” they say in harmony and leave.

I am alone in my apartment and have no idea what to do. I want to message Nathalie, but it’s already 1 A.M. maybe she is asleep and I don t want to wake her up. I still send her a message.

Liam: Hey, sorry if I wake you up. Zayn told me that you were with him?

Why am I asking this? I think that I just want to talk with her. I get a message immediately.

Nathalie: Hey. You did wake me up, but it’s okay. Yeah we were lost and he brought us back to our hotel. Is everything okay with him?

They noticed that he wasn’t okay, but I don’t know if I can tell her.
