Chapter 1

Chapter 1:

Nathalie's P.O.V:

I can't explain how happy I am right now. It's summer holiday, I'm 18 and I'm going to London for 3 weeks with my bestfriend Jade.

We've known eachother for 13 years now. She's more like a sister than a friend to me. She always thinks the same as me and we both hate boys. Boys.... You can't trust them, they always cheat and are the biggest liars.

Yep, we are 18, we've never had a boyfriend and we don't need one. We are happy without.

Everybody of our age has a boyfriend and we are still single, but we don't care. We have eachother to have fun. So why would we want a boyfriend, right?

We've been looking forward to this holiday for so long. Away from all the people that ask why we're still single, that tell us how happy they are with their boyfriends and that we really need one too. But the most important part, I'm getting away from my family. They get on my nerves and I'm so happy that I'm leaving them for 3 weeks. This will be the best holiday of my life!

We're packing our suitcases for Sunday. We're leaving in 3 days and we're so excited. We just can't wait anymore.

Jade already finished packing, so she came to help me. "Why are you bringing all your clothes, we're not leaving for the rest of our lifes?" she asks. "We don't know the weather there, I wanna be prepared for every kind of weather." She starts to laugh. Why is she laughing, did I say something wrong? "Why are you laughing?" I asks. "Nathalie, we are going to London, it will be the same weather as here. The Netherlands is close to England, so I don't think the weather there is very different." She was right, like always. "Why are you always right?" "I'm just clever that's all." she says while chuckling.

We finally finished after 4 hours. We were so tired after packing that we went to bed early.

Sunday.

We went to the airport to catch our flight. Our parents brought us, so they could say their goodbyes. "Be serious when you are there, don't talk to strangers only if you want to know your way and don't go with them to their houses. Never trust a stranger." my mom says. "Ok mom, how many times did you tell me this, I understand it, I'm not stupid you know. Just trust me, everything will be fine." "You need to understand me, my little girl will be in London, alone. Everything can happen. I trust you, but I don't trust the strangers there." my mom says while hugging me. I hate it when she calls me her little girl, I'm not 5 anymore. She really needs to know that I'm an adult know. "I'm not a little girl anymore, I'm 18 and everything will be fine mom." "I know sweety, you just grow up so fast." And she's doing it again. It's better if I ignore her. It's 7am, I'm tired and I don't want to argue with her right now. I'm going to London and nobody can screw up my day.

"Flight 14 to London, England will be departing in 15 minutes." A voice says throught the intercom "Flight 14 to London, England will be departing in 15 minutes."

"That's our cue." I say to my parents before hugging them. "Take care of Allison and Chris and kiss them for me. I'll miss you all." and I really mean it this time. I will miss them, even if I don't like them that much, they are my parents.

"We'll miss you more." my dad says. My parents are crying. I look at Jade and her parents and I see that her parents are crying too. Good, my parents are not the only ones crying.

"Nathalie are you coming, I don't want to miss our flight." My friend says. "I'm coming, bye mom and dad, bye mr. and mrs. Smit." We wave to them all and walk away to our flight.

The flight lasted for an hour. Jade and I were so tired that we slept during the flight. A hostess woke us up and told us that we were landing in London.

"Wow, that was fast." my friend says. "You slept during the flight that's why you think it was so fast." I say, laughing. "You slept too, so stop laughing bitch." she said, laughing too.

We have a weird friendship, I know. We call eachother bitch, whore, everything, but we know that it's just jokes. Normal people would be insulted, but Jade's not. That's the reason I really love her. She knows that I don't mean it when I say such things and I know it too when she says it to me.

"I love you Jade, You are a great best friend. I'm so happy that I have you as my best friend and these 3 weeks will be amazing." "I love you too, Nathalie, and they will"

The plane landed and we were finally in London. We started to check out and everything and Jade was calling a cab, so we could go to our hotel when suddenly someone bumped into me.

"Watch out, are you blind or something?"
